The newly remodeled Stone Cabin with sandy beach and clean clear water

House was clean and very well done. We were able to use the garage too, which was vital with the cold snap we were visiting in. Would love to stay here in the summer.

This was an excellent property that deserves 5 stars all the way around. Very clean, quiet and updated! This home has been supplied with absolutely everything you need. If we travel that area again, I will stay here for sure! Highly recommend!

The cabin looked even better than the pictures. It was comfortable and had all the small things one needs when staying away. The host was accessible and always willing to help.

This property is absolutely beautiful! It far exceeded expectations. It was clean, excellent communication from hosts, well furnished and stocked with basics. Comfy beds & bedding. All bathrooms, fireplaces, and doors were in excellent working condition. Easy to find, but still feels cozy & private. If you stumble upon this gem in your search radius, i highly recommend booking.

The host responded in a timely manner to any questions we had. The place was very clean and in great shape.

The house is great, it’s the 3rd visit for us.We were very comfortable and the host, John was very responsive. Fun to be in a winter wonderland for the holidays.

We had an amazing Girl’s weekend at this lovely place. The kitchen is amazing and stocked really well. We used the fireplace quite often and loved the screen porch. The lake views were beautiful and we can’t wait to book again! The hosts were great!

The communication was seamless. The house was completely clean. Location ideal. We had access to everything we wanted and needed for a wonderful visit. The views are dreamy. The kitchen fully equipped. The bed was comfy. All the amenities - screen room, decks, fireplaces and fire pit, canoes and on and on - were as described and in perfect order. There was space for quiet times alone and gathering times w whatever crew you have w you. Again, location. So close to Bemidji, Lake Itasca, so many trails and other things to do. I cannot say enough good about this cabin.

The house was great, beds comfortable, kitchen like home but with a better (fantastic) view, and our hosts were friendly and responsive.

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL! Had all of the amenities and was such a great gathering space. The screened-in porch was great at night, and we loved using the canoes to paddle around the lake. A little hiccup getting into the house, but Jim was helpful and thoughtfully checked in. I highly recommend this place and look forward to our next stay!

The pictures don’t due the home justice, we loved everything about the Stone Cabin and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hosts are very responsive, the house is clean, comfortable and well equipped for a great vacation on the lake.

Had a fantastic time st the stone house. House worked very well for our group. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Several areas to gather in and enjoy the surroundings. Plenty of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for.John was a great host answered my questions in a timely manner. We wished there was a little more room down by the lake to play yard games . Overall we had a great time!

We absolutely loved staying at the Stone Cabin! The check in and communication with the host was wonderful, as were the accommodations. The entire home was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable with quality linens. The kitchen had ample cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and well maintained. The owners are lovely and super responsive. So much to do; swim, golf, paddle, boat, hike , restaurants , fishing ( we don't but others did ). So much wildlife; loons, eagles, King fisher, pileated woodpeckers !! We would definitely rent here again.Thank you

We booked the house for our daughters wedding. The property was absolutely beautiful. We got great photos of the bridal party and family. The location is perfect. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Definitely recommend for any occasion.

Our family and a few friends got together to come up to Bemedji at this wonderful lake home. Everything about this lake home was wonderful; the furnishings throughout the home were comfortable and well thought out. The beds are out of this world comfortable. The pictures you see online don’t do this place justice, the tall beautiful ceilings throughout the first floor create an extremely spacious feel. Additionally, all of the kitchen equipment supplied and other amenities like the grill and fire pit worked perfectly. Last but not least, the sandy beach and entertainment areas outside are perfect and private for some great camaraderie between your group. 10/10 all around and John was so easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

The house is in a beautiful location. There are multiple spots to gather and visit. We enjoyed the local wildlife from the loon calls to the beaver swimming by the dock.

The house was amazing and John was a great host; he was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The house was well appointed, and very comfortable. We are looking forward to our next stay already!

Going to son's graduation at BSU was the reason to be in the area. He missed his first collage degree walk due to covid. We decide to use this occasion as a reason for the family to celebrate in the Bemidji area. Found this property and it fit the bill for seven adults over a long weekend. Could not have been happier with our selection. Location was perfect for us quick access to Bemidji on Friday and Saturday for the graduation ceremony also to see the sites around the area. This was the first time any of us had been to this area. Even the graduate as he was doing online classes. The property was fantastic. We had mornings with eagles in the trees as we looked out at the lake. Had a couple of loons we believe doing their mating ritual on our last night again out on the lake in front of the property. The property had every thing we needed for use to allow us to cook our breakfast and dinners. Space to gather for a game night. Even got to watch a Timberwolves playoff game as a group. Beds were comfortable along with bedrooms having the climate choice for each couple that they wanted. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Kitchen was modern and stocked with plates, utensils, glasses and pots and pans that you would need for your stay. You will not be disapointed with your stay here.

Nicely updated cabin with all the conveniences of home. Options both indoors and outdoors to relax or entertain. The internet connection was strong enough for two of us to being working remotely during the day. We will stay here again!

The house was great! Kitchen was nicely stocked. Plenty of room. We came for our yearly ATV trip and was able to access trails from the house. No need to trailer to any trailheads if you do not want too. FYI, Turning a 35ft trailer around was a challenge, the driveway is not big enough. We had to drive up the road to a house that had a better driveway. The road is on a dead end, with no better options for turning around at the end either. Otherwise, the house was great!

This is a big, beautiful home, in the woods, on a quiet, clean lake. It is like a hybrid resort and private home! Sandy beach, dock, canoes, cement paths to the lake, screened porch, patio, smoker, propane and wood fire pits, additional outdoor table and chairs, smart TV, fireplaces, games. The beds are very comfortable (& I'm finicky with beds), and quiet possibly unlike anything you've experienced. Fully stocked kitchen, and windows for days! It is clean, and feels like home. The host is attentive, and aims to provide a top-notch rental. We didn't want to leave, and hope to go back some day!

Got lucky with a Northern lights show. But were also delighted by eagles and osprey in the trees. Inside this place is beautiful and has everything you need and much you don’t. Outside the property’s stone work is amazing and the spaces are fantastic. The lakes speak for themselves… Is add photos but not seeing a way.

What an awesome experience! We loved the idyllic lakeside location, but were just as impressed with the luxurious interiors. And the property has a great beach and dock---perfect to take off from in a canoe or to go swimming in! A very pleasant and comfortable place to stay for our vacation! Thanks Lisa and John!

What a great place to stay! We loved the kitchen. We didn't have to bring anything. There was a coffepot, Kuerig, slow cooker, blender, and teapot. The house was lovely! The pictures don't do it justice. Lots of space for games and movies. The decks were amazing. The grill on the upper deck and the fire pit on the lower level were wonderful! I highly recommend staying here. Our group will be back!
