Stayed Dec 27, 2025Our host was welcoming. The house is well equipped. A couple of minor things that broke were rapidly repaired. So all in all a great place to stay with excellent proximity to the town and all its amenities.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025We enjoyed our stay, especially the location and the secure back yard for our dog. The house was very clean except for dirty frying pan and saucepan which had been put away without being washed. They were covered in baked on food. As it is the middle of winter we appreciated the heater, air conditioning and electric blankets.

Had most of what we needed however it tended to be on the bare minimum side of supplies ( one hand towel in the bathroom was not enough, one tea towel in the kitchen, same story. ) small shortcomings I know but it would have made a difference to have a few extra towels etc. Aircons in all bedrooms was good, beds comfortable. Charging stations for phones a bonus. Overall we all enjoyed our stay. One guest ended up leaving her hairdryer there and mistakenly now has yours I think?! A win for you as hers was much newer.

Stayed Apr 22, 2024We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Modern Victoria. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops. The home was well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Often it is hard to find accommodation suitable for a young family and dog, but this ticked all the boxes.
