The cottage was so beautiful with a great view of the lake! It was spotless! The available bikes were great for cruising to the wineries.

We loved the location, the sunsets were amazing for all 3 evenings. We celebrated two milestones, my partner making it to his 70th year on this planet and the final payment on our mortgage. Life is Good. We had everything we needed at the cottage, we didn't get to cook as we were too busy taking in all the offerings of the area and needed a couple more nights to just BE in the space. We would consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! It was incredibly clean and had everything we could possibly need — the owners truly thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. One of the loveliest surprises was the homemade banana bread waiting for us when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch!The view of the water was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. We spent every evening soaking in the peaceful scenery and couldn’t believe how relaxing it was. This place is a true gem.

They thought of absolutely everything!! The view is A. The cottage is the cutest thing we’ve booked in a very long time. There was so much to do in this area whether you wanted to hop in the car and explore or sit on the beautiful deck at the cottage and dream away the day while looking at the gorgeous view! The cottage is quaint but it offered all we needed to make our holiday a success. We will not forget the memories made at The Hideaway

This cottage is small, but it has ample space for everything you could ever need. Its very comfortable, the yard is reall nice, the lake view is right there and the cottage has those small things like condiments, coffee, etc.. all the stuff you hate to go buy for a one or two time use. Its wonderful and the host is on it. Right from check in to check out. Very responsive.I hope this helps others. Wed stay again, no problem.

There was absolutely nothing that this cottage didn't have Hosts thought of everything comfortable bed too

Upon our arrival it was clear this cottage is well taken care of. Everything was spotlessly clean, lots of amenities and even a personal greeting sign. Paula was always available to answer any questions we had, which were quite limited as everything is very easy to find/use. The wineries in the area were fantastic, we particularly enjoyed North 42 and Viewpointe. The people nearby were also very friendly, we met a couple of locals and had some great conversations about the area, specifically the fishing. All of this along with some great restaurants in the town, made for an unforgettable experience. We are already planning our trip back, 5 stars because that's the maximum i can give.

Great little cottage, well decorated and had everything one needed. Great location with wineries close!

All as described by host and more. Small touches added to our experience (chocolates, Baklava, adding to my waist). The only problem was VRBO sending us some wrong info, but Host was on it pronto. Very nice experience and stay. Thanks

We were there for three nights. Beautiful view of Lake Erie. Peaceful surroundings. Easy access to the sights, sounds and learning experiences of the Harrow Agricultural Fair.

We had an incredibly relaxing long weekend thanks to the location and comfort of the cottage. The cottage is so cute and stocked with everything you need and more. The deck is a perfect place to unwind. The area is quiet and seems remote, but wineries, restaurants, golf, and a market are close by. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

This Hideaway was absolutely perfect for us on our anniversary. The cottage has everything one could ask for or need. So quiet and serene especially sitting out front and looking out onto Lake Erie. Paula and Jim have quite the gem here and were always reachable. Walking distance to Colchester beach, restaurants and wineries. Had a few flights at The Crew winery, very delicious! Bikes are provided to reach those other wineries that are just out of walking distance. Great, friendly neighbours that were more than happy to suggest any points of interest. This cottage is 100 out of 100 for us, can't wait to come back. A+++ Thank you very much!

Loved this little cottage as soon as we drove up to it. Even more once we went inside. Beautifully decorated, and every single amenity you could possibly want. Great view super nice neighbours and the banana bread she left for us was fantastic. Paula was great at communication and we had a lovely relaxing time. Love this area so many things I want to see I will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot. Close to everything. Perfectly suitable for 2 people. Everything was thought of from coffee to umbrellas. Would come again❤
