The Grey Cabin

The cabin was clean and easy to find.

The Netflix and Prime availability was an awesome touch.

Very cozy cottage. Host was very thoughtful in providing things one would normally forget when on a road trip such as canola oil spray and paper towels. It was a very relaxing area.

When we arrived, the password that we were given was incorrect. There were two of us that spent close to 30 minutes, trying to figure it out. There was no Internet service, no cell service, so there was no way to communicate with anyone. The refrigerator made a loud noise, the kitchen light was flickering,, there was a strong order throughout the house. There were plenty of notes what not to do, but no information of how to reach the owner or Vrbo. I’ve never left a one star review. We spent a fair amount of money. We didn’t stay the evening because we didn’t feel safe not being able to communicate with anyone.

The location was ideal for visiting the wild ponies at the nearby park. We enjoyed the stream nearby and the comfortable cabin.

Very pleased with this cute little cabin. The host was very responsive and super accommodating for our last minute stay. The property is beautiful and the kids LOVED the arcade. Everyone in the area was so friendly. We highly recommend this property and will most definitely be visiting again!

Great cabin close to Grayson Highlands!

This was such a fantastic stay! We came down from Washington DC suburbs for a long weekend visiting Grayson Highlands State Park. The cabin is an easy 15 minute drive from the park, which gave us such great flexibility because we could wake up early, go to the park and hike for a few hours, come back “home” and reset, and then go back out again for more hiking.The hosts thought of every detail, great and small. I lost track of how many times I thought to myself “Gosh, it would be really great if the cabin had…” and sure enough, there it was. Just little things like dish soap or laundry detergent or a candle lighter to start a fire in the fire pit.We loved the location next to the creek - such a far cry from big city suburban life! Could just sit on the porch or sit by the fire pit and unwind. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!!

Quiet and small little cottage extremely clean and tidy even under the furniture. It had a nice little stream right on the other side of the driveway. Our dog particularly enjoyed rolling in cool grassy lawn!

Super cute cottage near a stream in a super quiet & remote area. It was the perfect cabin for our stay with our 2 teens & 2 dogs. Cabin was clean & as described. We hope to return in the future!

I've stayed here twice. It's my go to place.

We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek.

beautiful and devastating at the same time. So much work going on to repair the infrastructure, bridges, homes and businesses. God bless and preserve these precious individuals and their homes. I’ll be back next year to see the progress and soak in the mountain air
