Stayed Aug 20, 2024We tried calling the number given but our calls would not connect to the owner. There was no self entry with keypad or combination lock. We had to go door knocking to nearby homes hoping some neighbor would know how to reach owner. And finally that is how we were able to connect with owner. And at the same time it started raining. After traveling it was exasperating to waste a lot of time just to get in the home.

Stayed Jul 16, 2022What a lovely house! The layout is perfect for two couples, with a pleasant communal area, and nicely separated private areas. We were there during a very hot period and were so pleased with the effective air conditioning, which was quiet and efficient without being bone chilling. The entry to the property is a bit tricky, and we recommend a good backup camera.

Stayed May 19, 2017Welcoming and calm, this is a place to stay. Close enough to activities and yet quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean, well appointed, and furnished with everything we needed. You can sit outside and enjoy the sun and birds or you can sit inside by the fireplace. You probably need a GPS to find it easily, but overall this isn't difficult to find. It's close to Amboise and to wine tasting areas and to chateau. Great information and recommendations about different sites is provided. I would recommend this for two couples, even though it has three bedrooms. For more than that, the bathroom on the second floor would be a little small. We would return if we are in this area.
