Stayed Apr 5, 2025Such a cosy, homely and quirky little stay! The 1950s blacksmith cottage had loads of charm. Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating—especially with a few little accidents from our toddler and myself (which Fern was so gracious about). Travelling with a toddler while in my second trimester of pregnancy wasn't easy, but this place made it feel comfortable and welcoming. 10/10!

Stayed Jan 1, 2025A very quaint, period style property. Within easy walking distance to the commercial centre, wharf/waterfront, etc of Kingscote. Very neat and tidy presentation

Stayed Oct 23, 2024House was fine but “kitchenette” to me includes hot plates Plenty of pots and kitchen equipment but you cook on a bbq which was rusted and dirty or you have to light a wood stove inside ?A double portable induction cooktop is cheap and could even be used undercover outside.Fridge looks old/funky but turned it off at night it was so noisy.Bed ,bathroom ,lounge ,outdoor area ,parking all great.Minor point that property is not marked in correct location on stayz map

Stayed Apr 22, 2024As the name suggests The Forge is very much an old building and many of its furnishings and accessories are also old... like the classic 1950s or so Kelvinator fridge. We loved this old world charm, but found it comfortable enough to live in. Location was excellent, and it was very quiet. Overall highly recommended,
