Town: This village is just two miles from the coast on the Isle of Wight, it has a gastropub as well as a shop. Appuldurcombe House, a baroque building and historical landmark is worth a look. Nearby is Ventnor with a range of amenities, botanical gardens and a beach. The whole of the island is accessible by car and you can visit the Isle of Wight AONB and the Hamstead Heritage Coast.
