The Cardinal. Newly built 1-bedroom cottage w/ WiFi and AC in delightful Muncie

Cottage is very tidy and clean. Great location, and the Host was very responsive.

Really happy that the bed was a real mattress and not memory foam! Slept like a rock. Neighborhood is sketchy but the home was really quiet, new, and very cozy. Wonderful stove and oven for cooking. It's within walking distance to the college and close to coffee shops and main drag. I am happy they provided board games, nice dinnerware, and two tvs. Thanks again!

Previously had stayed at this property, and all of my previous comments were still true for this visit as well. Of note -- in my previous review (which was 5 Stars), I did express the want for some extra lighting in the living room area and when arriving for my second visit -- low and behold the hosts had listened and accommodated this need. Above all else -- the ability of the host to listen to guests and adapt on the fly is going above and beyond. Highly Recommended!

The place was super clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was big and well-maintained. The host gave me the necessary info before I needed to ask for it which is not always the case. It is located really close to Ball State. If my daughter chooses to go to school there we will be staying here for sure!

We spent three nights at this property and we loved every second of our stay.This property, the Cardinal, provided for an extraordinarily quaint, cozy, and peaceful getaway in Muncie. The property sits back in the neighborhood of which it resides, tucked away from the business of the it's surroundings which creates a very quiet experience and stay. Directions were clear and given ahead of time, entry was seamless and without issue. Coming and going was a breeze and the location was close to a lot of the areas of interest around Muncie. The host provided all the necessities and then some to give it that extra touch and homey feel which was greatly appreciated. The bed was cozy, the wifi was speedy, the tv service provided all the streaming apps we tried using. Only very small thing I would suggest is a lamp or a slightly better source of light in the living room area as the overhead ceiling fan provides very little. Other than that , what an exquisite stay. My partner would love to make this our spot when in town and we are planning monthly visits to Muncie. We truly hope this property is available when we go to book for next month -- it will be the first place we check.

Excellent hospitality and accommodations!It was so nice to have snacks available waiting for us upon arrival. The ice and water options were so nice. We felt so at home in this safe, quiet neighborhood with discreet parking right at the door. Hope to book again when we come to visit our family.
