Stayed Oct 10, 2025This was our first time staying with a VRBO property and we couldnt have found a better place to stay! The house was incredibly clean, stocked with everything we needed, and such an amazing area. There was plenty of room, and it never felt cramped! Grant and Emma were so helpful. I messed up part of the # of people during booking and Emma was so gracious and helpful. There were games, kayaks, a fire pit, fishing, kids toys, and tons of stuff to do, we truly never needed, or wanted to leave the property. It was so beautiful and on the lake. South Haven and Saugatuck were just a short drive to the lake if we wanted. The hosts had plenty of local area things to do, places to eat, and pamphlets for if we wanted to adventure out. Even though the trip was very short, we are very thankful we had the opportunity to stay. We plan on staying again in the future!

Stayed Jul 26, 2025The description of the house is perfect. The house met our needs. The Lake was nice and the location was close enough to South Haven and Saugatuck for a Lake Michigan Experience. Also, the Swan Lake Store Does Indeed have Literally Everything, have to see it to believe it. Highly recommend this house. I have been using VRBO for about 9-10 years. First time I have ever talked on the phone to my host. Grant was very nice and informative.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025We stayed here as an alternative to a traditional hotel for a work trip and it was great! Communication from hosts was immediate and clear, the house was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025Our time at this cottage was great! It was very clean, neat and well-stocked with everything we needed. We could tell that the owners put a lot of thought into everything they did to make it an easy, no-worries stay for their guests. The property was awesome as well...fishing and kayaking on a very quiet lake, nice firepit with a supply of dry/covered wood, plenty of outdoor seating by the beach, etc. The pictures online nicely represent the cottage and property, but seeing it in-person was really a great treat. Thanks so much to our hosts for having all of the bases covered and being available and responsive when we reached out to them. They did a great job with everything! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who may be looking for places to stay not too far from the nice little towns along Lake Michigan...South Haven, Saugatuck, Holland, etc. We really enjoyed ourselves!
