Hide-a-way at Swan Lake: fishing, relaxing, and dog friendly.

Check in was very easy. Home was clean and had everything we needed to cook a few meals during our weekend stay while hunting nearby.

This is a very nice, pet-friendly cabin on a lovely lake. Everything is thoughtful and clean.

Overall experience was very good. We have only one note: we would change all towels from 100% synthetic to something with cotton.

Kitchen was perfect, we called this house “everything but olive oil” because they literally had everything you could possibly need but olive oil! Keep in mind if you come in Summer like us it's best to keep the blinds and curtains closed as its cooled by a window unit. They do have a water filter in the fridge which we really appreciated. We really enjoyed fishing off the dock and watching the sunrise over Swan Lake. It was the perfect way to end our Michigan road trip. Highly recommend checking out Holland, Southhaven, and Saugatuck. Thank you so much for allowing our pup to come as well!

Spaced very nicely

Stayed with wife, son, and his family. My grands first visit to Michigan. Loved the trees, the lake, the quiet . . . except for the wonderful thunderstorm! The swans on Sawn Lake were an extra! Wish we'd been able to stay longer. This was a great Fall visit. I can only imagine how wonderful a summer visit would be.

The pictures do not do this property justice! I stayed here for one night in late August to celebrate my birthday and found myself in total awe upon walking the property. Check-in/out was smooth and easy, as Cindy was very delightful to work with. The property has everything you need, from extra beach towels, to games, to bug spray. The water was amazing and the provided boats and grill were surely appreciated. Though I didn't get to use the fire pit due to rain, the large sunroom came in handy in our time of need. Would 100% stay again!

Great Cabin/cottage. Love the attention to detail

Had all we needed. Very clean and enough room for the 3 of us with extra space. Great communication and very peaceful and relaxing. Will come again for sure.

Spent a couple of days with our 11 year old & dog. The house was exactly as described. It was very clean, newly updated & kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Newer BBQ & nice fire pit. Our favorite part of the house was the bonus room. We enjoyed using the kayak & paddle boards. The neighbors were very friendly & one has a large Chow that we were anxious about but the owner was with the dog at all times & we didn’t have a single issue. Overall, it’s a great place to take your kids & pups. Hopefully we’ll get to come back next year.

We chose this cottage for its proximity to Michigan’s wineries and the lake access. The cottage has plenty of indoor space, a large yard and sandy lake access. The cottage was equipped with all the essentials and made for a great stay for us and our dog. We look forward to booking this cottage again.

We enjoyed our 2 nights in Allegen. This house had very comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen and relaxing space, and the beautiful view of a Swan Lake.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was nicely updated with a beautiful cedar 3 season room. We brought our boat and fished Swan Lake, along with two other nearby lakes. It did not disappoint. Bass, bluegill, northern pike were some of the ones we caught. We plan to visit again and would rent this property! The owners were quick to reply to our messages and were super friendly.
