Stayed Jul 15, 2021The Ashland Cottage was the perfect location for our two night stay. It was walking distance to downtown coffee shops, stores and restaurants. The cottage had everything you needed and more, including a designated parking spot right at your front door.

Stayed Jun 28, 2026Property was clean, well-equipped, quiet and in a great location. Host was responsive and provided little extras - sparkling waters and half & half which was really sweet. The only downside was that the sunlight came into the bedroom in the very early morning making it difficult to sleep in.

Stayed May 22, 2026Do not hesitate to book! This lovely home was truly a dream and we did not want to leave. The place was spotless, and was so thoughtfully crafted. Everything in the unit was perfect. We had an amazing time. The hosts are incredibly warm and nice too. This is where I'll be booking for future visits to Ashland. If they have openings, book immediately. You won't be disappointed!

Stayed Apr 13, 2026Great place to stay near downtown Ashland. The kitchen was very well stocked which made it easy for us to prepare our own breakfasts before going out to enjoy a play, shopping and hiking in the area. The king sized bed in the loft was extremely comfortable. It was great to have a bathroom on each floor. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with and the check-in and out process was easy.

Stayed Mar 26, 2026Everything was beautifully designed and very clean. The kitchen seemed well stocked. I thought it was nice to find sparkling water in the fridge (and cream if you drink coffee). The bed was very comfortable, and the natural light that pours in from every angle was fantastic. My only criticism would be that I arrived at 2 mins until check in and they were still cleaning, so I had to wait a bit for the floors to dry, but that was probably a one time thing. Also, I do feel like the cleaning fee is rather high for a small space, especially when I only stayed one night. Other than those two things, everything was really nice and I would definitely want to stay there again if I come back to Ashland.

Stayed Mar 13, 2026What a gem of a place! So well-stocked and a comfy vibe throughout! Short walk to the OSF Theatre although a couple quick hills to climb. Beautiful setting. The only thing we wish we had was a small table or even a foldable card table to play some games in the evening. Just a small quibble in an otherwise fantastic place. We would definitely recommend and we would very much look forward to staying here again!

Stayed Oct 6, 2025My sister and i had a wonderful time staying in this sweet cottage. Located in a really nice neighborhood; we walked easily to the theaters, restaurants and Lithia Park. The floorplan of the cottage is great and it is very clean and cozy. A good kitchen and deck rounded out the place. We hope to be back next year.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025We had a lovely stay at this cottage and would stay here again for the 2 of us. It’s on the hill so about 3.5 blocks walk up or down hill to and from town. Fine for us. We ate in 3 out of 4 nights. Kitchen is well equipped but be aware the oven is a convect counter top oven and the stove is a 2 burner plug in. It worked for us and we used the BBQ which was great. There is a plug in skillet that worked well for eggs, browning potatoes and bacon. Gorgeous back deck with table for 4 and lots of shade from a huge tree. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed Aug 12, 2025Our family had a lovely stay in Ashland! This was our first time visiting to see the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and we will definitely be back! The Ashland Cottage was very quaint and cozy, and a great home base during the OSF. We could walk to shops, restaurants and shows, and the neighborhood felt very safe and family-friendly. Even though we shared a yard with the host family, it still felt very private, and there is even a beautiful view of the mountains out the loft bedroom windows. The kitchen had everything we needed, though a table would have helped (there are two seating spaces at the kitchen counter and an outdoor table we could enjoy as long as it wasn't raining or wet). The one day it rained made it a little crowded inside during mealtimes. We also encountered a few ants.Margaret was a gracious host, and made herself available when we needed help with streaming services. She was very responsive, and even let us enjoy some fresh eggs from her chickens. Yum!Overall, our family enjoyed our time at the Ashland Cottage. We made many great memories here!

Stayed Jul 31, 2025A weekend in Ashland was just what the doctor ordered! And this cottage was perfection! Margaret met us on arrival, and we entered our clean, comfortable, well-appointed, cozy “home”. The location is only a few blocks from downtown - shops, restaurants, bars, Shakespeare Festival - and it was a short drive to the wineries! All in all, a perfect place from which to enjoy Ashland!
