A beautiful apartment in an amazing location so close to the beach. Not a lot of amenities in Spittal but the beach is wonderful and it is close to many other lovely places.

Second visit to Templar’s cottage and not disappointed. Very comfortable with everything you need the welcome basket a really nice touch. Hosts very flexible and accommodating. Location perfect. Will definitely return .

We had a lovely relaxing time parked the car up and used local transport and enjoyed the walks on beach

Customer service and contact - excellent. The appt is 50m from the sea and there are great walks along the promanade and history placards everywhere explaining what used to be. The appt has everything you need, well maintained, modern and everything works! It is quiet and very comfortable. Parking is easy and there are some great large stores just 5mins in the car for supplies.

We had a great stay at Templars cottage it had all you could ask for . Great location so close to the beach , we will definitely return for another visit

I liked the interior and to have all rooms on the groundfloor. WiFi was working perfectly. Parking so close was very convinient. At the beach in 2 Minutes. Christine called on the arrival evening to check if everything was okay. That was very nice. I very much appriciated the little hamper. Thank you. I found everything just as described wien I made the booking.

Lovely for a short break. Ideal location so close to sea beach and promenade. Nice being dog friendly too.

We have stayed in Spittal before and so glad it hasn't changed. Templars cottage was just what we wanted for our weeks holiday and the weather was lovely.

Would recommend Templars to anyone. Right next to beach which dog loved. Nice local pub and shop, Microbrewery in same street.

Templars Cottage is a very comfortable little seaside retreat for two people and a dog, being only a minutes walk from a splendid beach. There is a convenience store just around the corner, and Berwick is within easy reach. Most guests will arrive by car - as we did - but I noticed that there are quite good bus services from Spittal which will take you to Berwick station and supermarkets, also along the Coast and into the countryside. There are many attractive and interesting places to visit - both sides of the Border - and Templars Cottage is a good base for exploration of them. Tip for Scots ... try the scenic drive from Gifford over the Lammermuirs and down through Cranshaws ... views from the highest points are impressive.
