Stayed May 27, 2023Very disappointed in the upkeep of the home. There is no pride of ownership. Worn and pealing deck. Caps missing from deck posts. Chunk of siding has a hole in it. Worn and pealing interior wood floors. Mismatched furniture and wood tops on several nightstands and tables are pealing. Family room overhead light did not work. Mismatched bulbs in overhead kitchen. Bedroom Curtains held back with rubberbands which had to be removed to close for privacy. This place feels unloved and it shows.For the price they charge, this place is not worth it. They need to care about the details and do repairs/replacements.

Stayed Oct 8, 2022I rented this place for Saturday to Monday stay. It was our 2nd Anniversary. We had a great time the place was just as described. Except for the Google directions took us an hour in the wrong direction. Based on the link in your email.

Stayed Mar 12, 2022My husband and I came down from Ohio for a weekend away in bourbon country. Great central location. Loved the view and the hot tub! House was clean and bed comfy. Which is alway super important. Would stay here again.

Stayed Aug 2, 2021This cottage was cute, comfortable, clean, quiet and cozy. It’s on a cul-de-sac so we didn’t notice any traffic. There were 5 of us (ages 16+). We used it as a home base while exploring other parts of the state. If you want to get on the lake, call the marina several days in advance since reservations are only taken by phone or in person. We called the morning of and thankfully got the last boat available. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 22, 2021Stayed at cabin 55 with 3 girlfriends for a low key weekend. The location is fantastic. Very quiet, relatively remote with gorgeous scenery. Super close to the marina if you want to do some water sports. Minimal options for restaurants but only about 35 minutes to Louisville if you want some additional choices and some night life. The cottage was well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Lots of seating room inside and out. The hot tub on the deck was fabulous but bring bug spray because it’s on the edge of the woods and fairly popular with mosquitos. House was clean and in good working order. Only reason for the 4-star versus 5-star was the age of the house. It’s an older unit and could use some updates.

Stayed Apr 17, 2021This place is wonderful and in a perfect location for a quick walk to the lake. You can see the lake from the back porch with deer and birds actively in the area!

Stayed Nov 6, 2020Loved everything! The cottage and the hot tub were fantastic! Make sure you take the hiking trail down to the water's edge. Great places to fish down there!
