Wonderful thoughtful host, delicious chocolate banana bread to welcome us to her lovely home away from home. Large fenced yard and great trail just walking distance from house ideal for stays with your pup.

It is a lovely cottage, clean, anything you might need readily available, wonderful mattresses for a great night’s sleep, and the welcoming homemade baked goods was a surprise treat. Jackie is a lovely person; very friendly and easy to communicate with. She even inquired about our arrival time and made sure extra outdoor lights were on to welcome us we had a wonderful relaxing stay in her home.

We had a wonderful family stay at Sweet Apple Cottage. The house was cozy and the kitchen was well stocked. We had no problem communicating with our host when needed- she was very responsive and courteous. The weekend we stayed was extremely hot, but with the evaporative (swamp) air conditioning and fans we were able to keep cool. The backyard deck was a wonderful spot for coffee in the morning and a nice dinner one evening. The location was also great for visiting the Colorado National Monument park -- it is a little over a mile from the house to the park's east entrance. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

We had such a great time staying at the Apple Cottage! It was the perfect place for me to work during the week and explore in the evenings and weekends. Located on the edge of town, it was close to everything in town. We will make sure to visit again!

My brother & I stayed here for a family event in town. Clean, cozy and comfortable with many small amenities added in.Steps & uneven floor levels make the cottage less suitable for older visitors, but it's quite charming and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

We always love a stay at Sweet Apple Cottage. Jackie is a fabulous host. Her cottage has a warm inviting vibe. It is the the absolute most stocked rental we have ever stayed in. We love the neighborhood as it is so peaceful and quiet. It feels remote but it really isnt. Thank you Jackie for all that you do for our stays

Very nice house with interesting decor and a backyard fit for a toddler to kick a ball around in! The host was wonderful and even provided us with a banana bread to make us feel welcome! The location is close to an entrance to the amazing Colorado National Monument, which was the first time, even though we're Colorado Natives, we have ever visited. Thank you for our stay!

I was visiting with friends who live in the Redlands. Traveling with a friend who had never been there. It was great to have a comfortable & convenient place to stay while we were there. Jackie was very nice to deal in every aspect.

The cabin is not only homey it’s rich in history about Jackie’s life and travels, which made it special. She baked delicious bread for us which was available on arrival. The amenities were all as described and our stay was lovely.

Cute little place in a quiet neighborhood. Nice back yard, and nice deck. Bathroom in the master bedroom has a great shower! Close to the main road, but with all the trees you can't hear the road. Super convenient if you are going into Colorado National Monument. Even more convenient to the Lunch Loop trails (I literally left from the house on bike and was at the trailhead in 5-10 minutes). It felt like everything around Grand Junction was less than 15 minutes away. The host was very easy to communicate with, and responsive to the one issue we had (with internet). And she even left us home made chocolate banana bread. I will point out that the air conditioning is actually a swamp cooler. It works fine, but if you are weird-o's like my wife and I who like it super cold in your bedroom when you sleep, you might be a little disappointed. Also, a warning if you're very tall that the door to the master bedroom is pretty low. I'm 6'3 and after I hit my head on the top of the door frame I noticed that it was only about as high as my nose.

This place was perfect for our vacation. It was well appointed, The host was very nice. She even made us banana bread! We particularly liked the outdoor space. The spacious house is in a relatively quiet neighborhood and also close to places we had planned to travel while in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are conveniently close as well. We would stay here again if in the area.
