Stayed Sep 20, 2025The cabin and location are fantastic. Nice neighborhood, but lots of privacy both on the deck out front and on the beach. Everything was as advertised and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. This is a definite yes if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Marquette. The location is unbeatable, and the house was very clean and well stocked. The decor has a vintage feel, but it was charming in its own way.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025This cabin is a retro-style cottage, well-equipped, clean and tidy. Plenty of room for one or for a whole family. The cabin has views of Lake Superior. There is a carport so you can rest assured if bad weather comes, your car is protected. Perhaps one of the best features of the cabin is that you are literally steps from the sandy beaches of Lake Superior. Everything is right there for you, so much so that you could stay at the cabin your whole stay. This cabin is a great option when visiting Marquette. The owner is also very attentive and responds to emails quickly. Definitely a great place to stay.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024My family has been spending a week on the beach in the UP every summer for many years. We have stayed in a variety of properties and this cottage has exceeded all of them. The house has just what a small family needs to be comfortable. It's charmingly vintage but clean. The location is excellent. Close to the amenities in Marquette and other area attractions but also right on one of the most beautiful beaches around. The owner is great and quick to respond to communication. My entire family agrees that this place is simply perfect. Thanks, Sue, for sharing it with us!

Stayed Jun 14, 2024What more can I say other than it’s on a sandy beach, 8 miles to Marquette, and centrally located between many waterfalls, state parks and museums.

Stayed May 31, 2024Honestly, this property is in my top 10 All-time favorites. If you’re looking for that up north woods, socially unencumbered and disconnected vibe, then you’ll definitely want to set your sites on a stay. Sue’s Superior Beach House, while not elegant in a modern technological way, still managed to represent everything a home should be. This place screams family! You can’t help but feel the love emanating from the walls her father erected in 1965 for his family. As you sit on the front deck in a pair of weathered rocking chairs trying to make sense of the beauty of Lake Superior, you can’t help but imagine the memories of past, present and future times this house has seen unfolded with in it’s walls. Sue, what a great property. For everything this home may not be for some. It was everything to myself and Sawyer!
