Stayed Aug 30, 2025Old. Could be cleaner. It’s not on the lake. There is a big grey house that actually owns the dock and the very narrow path to the lakeshore. No lake view. The fire pit is almost in the street which people park on. The grey house had company parked in the driveway of the vrbo so we had to park on the street. They knew we were there because they talked with us. They also have big dogs that bark at you and aren’t friendly!

Stayed Sep 20, 2024We were attending a family wedding in Scandia, but also visiting with relatives in the Twin Cities. This charming Forest Lake cottage was the perfect escape from all of the activity. It had everything we needed for our stay. Its location near the lake was ideal for relaxing walks and exploring the local area. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and truly enjoyable. Sonja was a terrific host, making sure we had everything we needed and responding to questions right away. A special thanks to her (and her sister) for the impromptu TP delivery after we arrived!
