If traveling in a larger group, check out the other homes on the property to rent all together (Sunflower Ridge Bungalow and Sunflower Ridge Cabin). With cozy furnishings, charming decor, and brightly colored walls, this cottage is reminiscent of sunshine on a field of sunflowers!

Step into the home from the adorable front porch into the entry living area. These beautiful chairs and leather sofa provide the perfect place for conversation and laughter with friends and family. Through this room lies the media room with a comfy couch and t.v., great for a classic movie night. Pop some popcorn and snuggle up to watch a family favorite!

The kitchen is fully stocked and provides everything you may need, whether preparing a full meal or an afternoon snack. After a fun day of fishing on the river, use the grill outside to cook your catch of the day and prepare yummy side dishes in the kitchen. Enjoy your delicious feast in the breakfast nook, or take your plates outside to eat at the outdoor dining area with wicker furniture. The owners have provided both a Keurig and traditional coffee maker for your convenience. After visiting one of the many local wineries, store your favorites in the wine rack to be opened for a relaxing glass on the porch.

The adorable bedrooms at Sunflower Ridge Cottage provide soft linens, warm quilts, and plenty of storage for your personal items. Large windows let in warm natural light that beautifully compliments the original hardwood floors. The master bedroom offers access to an en-suite half bathroom. The full bathroom follows the sunny theme of the home and offers fluffy towels. There is behind-the-mirror storage for your toiletries, but don’t forget to check for left items when you leave!

Outside, you will love the open spaces and quiet ambience, away from the city. This Hill Country oasis is beautiful year-round, and Sunflower Ridge is a wonderful place to soak it in. Enjoy roasting s’mores around the campfire, or just cozy up with some blankets to keep warm on a cool night. For a dose of luxury, pour a glass of wine and relax outside. Make sure to look up at the night sky to view the magnificent Hill Country stars. On a pleasant day, sink into the hammock for a cat nap and listen as the breeze passes by.

For whatever reason you are traveling, you are sure to have a great stay at this cottage. One thing is certain-- no matter the weather, every day is “sunny” at Sunflower Ridge!

This was a nice escape from the crowds in San Marcos for family weekend. We got to see deer and enjoy the quiet on the porch in the mornings.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though we didn’t spend much time there. The next time we will try to take it easy and enjoy the beautiful surroundings the place has to offer.

We like quiet, being in the country, birds, wildflowers, trees. Add to that a spacious, attractive, well-equipped cottage, even snacks and water to make us feel even more welcome. Sunflower Ridge was a delightful cottage for our last nights in the Texas Hill Country. We were close to Wimberley and San Marcos, not much farther to other towns and several State Parks. Wildflowers were spectacular on the ranch and on many, many roads we wandered. High recommendation for Pedernales Falls S.P. near Johnson City. Neither my daughter or I wanted to leave Sunflower Ridge or the TX Hill Country.
