Stayed Oct 17, 2025We loved everything about this property. The cottage was clean and very cozy, the big deck was great for a bbq and hanging out, the bunkie house was great for the kids, the covered gazebos was a great extra space and the lake front was beautiful. The hosts were great and had excellent communication.We will definitely be back next summer and cant wait to enjoy this property during warmer weather!

Stayed Sep 25, 2025Host was very responsive and flexible about our check-in and checkout. It’s in a quiet cove of a peaceful lake, in a quiet community, so very relaxing. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the use of the kayaks and canoe.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025We had a wonderful time. The property is perfect for dogs and small children, as it has a very gentle slope to the water. The cottage was clean, and newly renovated. This cottage has everything, including a dishwasher, and air conditioning.

Such a phenomenal accommodation and the host was very responsive and generous with our check out time … we would absolutely come back! Relaxing time out on the lake & our dogs had just as much fun as we did :)

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We are so happy to have found this gem. Our family have rented other cottages on Salmon Trout before but this is our favorite by far! Great communication with owners, well kept cottage and all amenities you can think of. The fishing was awesome and the lake was great to swim in. Our daughter had a blast! We've already booked for next year!

Stayed Jun 21, 2025We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and it had everything we needed and more! We loved spending some time in the Muskoka room playing games and watching the fireflies at night. The hosts were helpful and attentive. We would love to return one day.

Stayed Jun 8, 2025Michelle and Darryl's cottage was so lovely. All communication was fast, informative and kind. The cottage itself felt nicely updated, cozy and comfortable. Loved the big deck, and the screened-in porch. Lovely dock for sitting or launching kayaks from. Kitchen well-equipped, comfortable beds and nice shower.

The use of the different watercraft to be active was great as well as the numerous seating areas for relaxation. The screened in room was comfortable for both day and evening. A great property.
