Stayed Jun 13, 2025We really enjoyed our holiday at Avalon! The host met us to explain the property, and a little Father's Day cup with chocolates was waiting for my husband. Family visited us one day for a celebration and everyone loved the cottage. My son was all for booking it next year again. A few people have shown interest when we talked about our experience. Beautiful cottage, small but just perfect for a lake holiday. All the ammenities etc. were outstanding & beds super comfy. Would definitely rent there again.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023The cottage is the perfect size for four although can comfortably accommodate six. It was very clean and has all the amenities and more; i.e. washer/dryer, dishwasher. It is perfect for rest and relaxation and you can swim right off the dock. It is on the Trent waterway so there is some boat traffic but nothing too hectic. You can enjoy watching them go by in the screened in porch or on the lower deck by the water. Perfect for someone who enjoys water activities, like kayaking or jet skiing. The fishing isn't too bad either. The hosts, Carolyn and Murray (Leo too) were very accommodating. Thank you for the snacks and bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed them.
