We have stayed at several vacation rentals. Creek side cottage was the most comfortable and well supplied we have ever rented. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and has a great yard and view. The host was available and helpful.

We didn't use the kitchen much at all. Our bed and bedroom was great. We did drop something that went under the bed and when we went to retrive it, noticed that there was something else under there and really needed a good cleaning under the bed. I guess my other suggestion would be to have a location for parking the car other than on the grass, maybe some gravel or pretty rocks to park on. One last thing, every morning at approx. 7:30am, I heard some type of recording but didn't know what was said or where it came from.

The cottage was amazing overall. Everything from the epic views, the decorations and cleanliness all set this place apart from your average rental. The owners were easily reachable but maintained strict privacy. Instructions for arrival and departure were very clear and easy to follow. We hope to be able to start here again when we come back for more nature as there is so much to do close by. Our son loved the on-site creek and the nearby gem mines and waterfalls.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is such that you feel remote but are only a few miles from the towns shopping and restaurants. There was a great view from the property. You can get the same view from inside and out. There was a nice screen porch to sit on and a big window in the living room sharing the same view. The place was very clean. the kitchen was well stocked should you desire to cook in. We would definatley stay here a gain should we return to the area.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, very nicely decorated and well appointed. It also had great views of the blue ridge mountains and sunset. It was close to downtown where we enjoyed dinner and met some friendly people along the way. Overall we had a fantastic, relaxing stay and would definitely be back. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to visit Franklin or nearby Bryson City, Highlands etc.

The home is just beautiful and was extremely clean. We felt so comfortable there. The view was seriously heavenly. We even got to enjoy a thunderstorm with lightening while there. The little creek next to the house was my husband's favorite thing about the house. The home had more than we could have needed. Very well thought out. Our host was super quick to respond and was so very kind. Looking forward to going back, hopefully soon.

We got to Franklin a little earlier than expected and contacted the property manager and they let us check in a little early. The property was just as described if not better!! The decor was exceptional! The view from the porch was amazing!!! Sunsets were stunning! The accessability for a wheelchair user was awesome! They were able to manuever around the house, bathroom was great and porch access was so nice. We loved the sound of the stream from the porch. We will want to stay here again! Loved it!

Charming home in the most gorgeous rolling hilled, pastural area just outside of Franklin. The view from the living room and porch was lovely. We watched the sun burn off the clouds every morning and turn the mountains from purple to gold. We walked the dog around the area, admiring the other pretty houses and even met a neighbor. The home was clean , comfortable and well appointed. I have stayed in several VRBO rentals in western NC and I liked this one best for the views and convenience to activities, stores and neighboring communities. Doreen, the property manager, was instantly responsive when we ( 2 old ladies) locked ourselves out of the house and with any questions we had. I would stay again in heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! It was just as advertised—clean, nicely furnished, and with amazing views of the Smoky Mountains. The host was very accommodating, especially in welcoming our two Australian Shepherds. The location was perfect for hiking, and it was close enough to stores and restaurants for convenience. Highly recommend!

This was the most amazing property! The mountain views, sound of the creek, and wildlife are paired with a house lacking nothing to make this a perfect vacation. The beds were amazing. The living room has a perfect set up to watch one of the DVD's or play games. Our favorite places were the screened in porch and the chairs by the fire pit. Our dogs were welcomed and they loved exploring all the new smells. We will definitely be back!
