Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 6 in 3 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

The Tidal Shack is situated close to the fabulous filey beach and makes a perfect base for visits to the many attractions of the Yorkshire coastline. The cottage is well presented, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We couldn't get the shower in the bathroom to work or the bedroom TV (possibly needs a new battery in the remote), but other than that it was a very nice place to spend a few days. It was our second visit and we hope to visit again next year.

We stayed for Easter school holidays and were pleased with the cost and the quality of the accommodation. It blew us away when we walked in. Beautiful and just like home. Kitchen utensils just like you would have at home, I can’t think of anything missing I would need to cook a meal. The washing machine is not a dryer also so beware as you cannot peg out so drying clothes could be an issue. The facilities were brilliant, best swimming pool we have been in on a holiday. Overall highly recommended.

Lovely holiday home with everything we needed. Great location near all the amenities. Had a great meal at the pub although a little expensive. Would definitely recommend to others .

We had a lovely stay at The Tidal Shack, the home was spacious and tidy, perfect for our family of 5. The home had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and tv services. Will definitely be back again!

This cottage is so spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and would definitely recommend. The 2 minor things it needs is a door mat on entry and a new can opener.

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night stay over Christmas. We have stayed at The Bay many times but this was our first time at this property. The downstairs rooms were perfect for our party. Great kitchen, I managed to cook Christmas lunch & having a full fridge/freezer was a massive help. The lounge area was big! Perfect for the 5 of us. The Christmas tree was lovely & even matched the decor. All open plan too, so no being locked away in the kitchen which was just brilliant. I would have liked a few more mugs, as had to keep washing them but other than that there was pretty much everything need in the kitchen. Upstairs was just ok for us. Bedrooms are fairly small compared to other properties we have stayed in. The main bedroom with the en suite only had space for one bedside table which wasn’t ideal but nothing else you could do. Beds in two of the rooms are doubles, so if you want a king size, this will not work for you, rooms are not big enough to accommodate anything larger. Bathrooms were all well appointed and very clean. Towels, although lovely & fluffy, did not dry at all! I’d bring my own another time. Tea & coffee was provided, we bought our own so didn’t use, but there was no other ’welcome’ items that we have received at other properties (e.g. milk, biscuits etc). Very close to the main facilities. We had a lovely time & would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay in the Tidal Shack, The Bay. It was lovely, clean , spacious and had everything we needed . Just a short walk to the pub , shop , swimming pool and other amenities. Also a nice walk to the beach and a park for the children . We would definitely return .

House was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our family. It was close to the amenities but remained quiet and peaceful. We loved the walk through the woods to the beach cafe, and enjoyed many hours on the beach. Owners were quick to respond to any queries. We would be happy to return or to book again.

Nice, comfortable house. Plenty of space for us all. Shame we couldn't pre-book some nice weather!
