Stayed Feb 7, 2018...and in same EST zone as mid-Atlantic. Kay Mimi Exactly as shown & described. Plus the owners were very helpful in giving suggestions & driving directions. Good location for going N or S and not much traffic over on that E side of the island. Excellent roads & good signs BUT very curvy. Carrefours in nearby Francois has good food selections inc. beer, wine & spirits but didn’t need much as we had Mirielle’s dinners 3 times - so we weren’t out driving after dark. Loved sitting on the deck enjoying garden, birds & view of ocean. Water always changing & sky. Some sprinkles but brief. Always windy but it was warm. We live at the beach in Delaware so didn’t do much at Island’s beaches. Decathlon has new store there. We knew from Europe. NORWEGIAN Air flies 2xs /week from Ft Lauerdale. No mosquitoes so didn’t need net as shown over bed. Read “The Rose of Martinique” by Andrea Stuart for history of island and background on Napoleon.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The highlight of this studio is the kind and generous hosts. You are welcomed with a light meal and local drink specialties and they set aside time to spread out an island map and point out favorite spots with suggestions to make your stay memorable. They assisted us with reservations and included us in their trip to Carnaval and shared the bounty of their beautiful gardens. Mireille is a wonderful cook and is happy to make dinner for you to enjoy on your patio. We enjoyed this treat twice! The location is convenient for exploring the entire island and the property is setback from the road and very private. We recommend a stay here without hesitation and are very grateful to the hosts for everything they did to make our visit exceptional!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fine and cosy studio 4 kilometer from Le Francois. Studio is situated so you by car can get to the whole western part of Martinique in 30 minutes. Studio is fresh and clean and hosts Mireille and Michel makes you feel welcome and relaxed. First day after arrival Michel gives you tips and hints where to go and what to see. Great service! We can even recommend hostess Mireilles food which is original creole made with love. During our stay hosts opened a wonderfull swimmingpool which is a major plus as th e is no beaches nearby. All in all the perfect place to have a relaxed stay. Our best recoomandations

This was the perfect studio for us with its well equipped kitchenette with a large fridge. We especially liked the seating area in the garden. While not directly at a beach, it is centrally located and offers easy access to all parts of the island. The owners, Mireille and Michel are very welcoming and gave us excellent advise of what to see. They even picked us up at the airport at midnight because the rental car agency was already closed. They really know their island. If you don't like big resorts, this is the place to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.
