Nice chalet, clean and nicely built, very handy for shops and outdoors. However, Freeview didn't work, and left me with basic terrestrial tv, no dvd's or even books. This compares badly with facilities at other cottages I've stayed in. Couldn't get the shower to work on the first night, but this was a simple issue of not knowing where the external isolator switch was. Once found, easily solved. Also, felt that a coffee machine or percolator would have been nice to have. Relatively simple things that would make a difference. Gardens were nice, so generally enjoyed my stay and would recommend it, but would be better if those small things could be addressed. Having the family next door, they were very friendly and approachable, and once I'd told Anne about the Freeview, she did get someone to look at it, but it wasn't fixed during my stay
