Steps to the Ocean! Family and Dog Friendly North End Cottage w/ Rsrv Parking

Great place to stay. Close to the Boardwalk and only steps to the ocean. Wide, clean beach perfect for young families or dogs. Bonus: Dolphins swimming in the surf! House was very clean. Had everything we could need. Will definitely stay here again.

House was cute, close to the beach. Only recommendation is replace boards outside shower and door stopper behind bigger bathroom

A very nice & easy to access place. 3 minutes to the ocean which this beach access doesn't have many people like the boardwalk at VA Beach. 6 people is definitely the max amount you should bring as it's fairly small but very doable for a short stay. I would stay here again. Quiet neighborhood, maybe a bit noisy traffic since it's beside the main road .

The place was clean and well stocked.

The location was excellent, on the quiet side of the North End and with easy access to the residential beaches. Very dog friendly, too, so our pup had a great time. Even a fenced yard for easy potty breaks!The hosts are so thoughtful and let us reschedule after a snowstorm so we could actually enjoy our time. The mattresses and couches are comfortable and the shower and bathrooms are nice and bright. Towels provided and whatever you need is in the kitchen also. Thanks so much!!!!!!

Our host was extremely thoughtful and accommodating! We were in vA Beach to escape a big snow/ice storm in Richmond and our hosts made sure we were super warm. When they noticed the heat was not increasing on the thermostat, they sent in a technician and portable heaters. Their kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked!

Clean well taken care of property. Process to rent is easy and the owner was extremely accommodating. Thanks for a great stay

Great communication and very welcoming

We really enjoyed our stay at this Virginia Beach house. The location was awesome — just about a 3-minute walk to the beach, which made it super easy, especially with our dog.The house was very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. There were four adults staying, and we had more than enough space. Everything we needed was there, and it felt like a place you could actually relax in, not just sleep.It was great to find such a dog-friendly place, and the area was quiet and nice for walks. Overall, it was an easy, comfortable stay, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great location and communication

The check-in was seamless. The property was clean, and the pictures were accurate. It had everything we needed for a long weekend of golf, dominoes, and watching football. It's directly on Atlantic Avenue but road noise was not overwhelming, and beach access was worth it. Easy drive or Uber to restaurants etc. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a nice long weekend away and were able to bring our dog. The house was very cozy and well equipped. We were just a short walk to the beach which our puppy loved!!

What an incredible property. When we arrived, we found everything immaculate, and well maintained. Everything we needed was on location, and we were able to start vacationing right from the start. Fantastic Northern End VA Beach accommodations!!Everything I wanted for a few nights at the beach! Located a very short walk to the beach was my favorite part!! Also close to a state park and really good restaurants (especially the seafood!) Also the place was clean, stocked with necessities, had a fenced in yard for our dogs. Good communication with the host, they were very helpful with all our requests. Would stay here again!! Thanks so much!!

Great stay. Easy walk to fantastic beach. Not too crowded. Dogs and kids enjoyed the week. Property has everything you need.

Coffee maker was broken, the hair dryer also. Outside area was filthy dirty and unpleasant. Condo is in decent shape, just needs some care.

It was a charming beach house, which met all our needs for a relaxing summer vacation. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. The owner was very friendly as we were checking out. The location close to the beach was a huge plus.

We’ve visited this cute beach cottage several times previously and continue to enjoy every minute. Jeff is quite responsive, quickly resolving any need. The owners have a knack for decorating the cottage to create an ambience of sun and surf:-) Very short walk to beach. Added benefit- bringing our sweet dog to cottage! So much in the area-dolphin cruise, Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E, Virginia Aquarium, restaurants (we like Bubba’s), evening music on the Boardwalk, and great massages! We visited family and enjoyed a private karaoke party at Grammy’s Korean BBQ! Clean, cool, comfortable! Thank you for another great stay, Cher and Jeff!

The house is so cute and clean. A nice fenced in front yard so our furbaby could people watch. The beach was not packed at all and just a short walk with no streets to cross.

Great location, just steps from the beach. The house is well equipped with anything you might need and having a washer and dryer wads a huge bonus. Plenty of beach chairs and toys were included too. We would 100% rent again.

The apartment was perfect for my husband, my mother, our 2 small terriers, and me. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds had memory foam toppers and were very comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood with short walk to beautiful beach!

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon with our 2 dogs. It was everything as advertised. Short walk to the beach, fenced in front and back yard, etc. It was all just what we wanted! Place was very clean and well kept. Hosts were very easy to communicate with

This place was just lovely! Cute little place a short 2 minute/`1 block walk to the beach with no need to cross any traffic Place had everything we needed - could easily sleep six people. Place was clean, convenient and walkable (easily) to the beach or the hiking trails within Point State Park. I will DEFINITELY be coming again next year!

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped! Had a couple of questions after checkin and hosts were easily accessible and extremely accomodating.

We wanted to take the dogs to the beach. The fenced in yard was great. It is on a busy street, so we were always out with the dogs when they went out. We live in the country, so they didn't like the city noise (the cars and motorcycles). Loved the beach so close, took them to the beach every day. They loved it. The is nice house, they have everything you need. There is a bike/hiking trail across the street. The only down fall is we couldn't get the local channels on the tv. We had planned a night of getting a pizza and watching shows we like but couldn't get the channel. And the front room furniture isn't very comfortable. The bed was comfortable so was the pillows. We enjoyed our time there

We stayed 3 nights for a getaway. The property is in a great location on the north end of Virginia Beach and super close to First Landing state park . We enjoyed it immensely.

Terrific location & charming cottage with an easy walk to beach

Our half of the duplex was bright and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group. Everything we needed was available. The walk to the beach was close however the beach was very wide to the water. Beach was very clean and not at all crowded. Would stay again.

This was the perfect place for us. And we loved the location. We could beach it which was right down the road or we could go to First Landing State Park for the the Bay or we could go to The Narrows. We love to Paddle board so the options were right there close by. The place was everything they said it would be. It was clean and very comfortable. Great beds!! And we loved the outdoor shower. If you are traveling with dogs it is a great place to stay. The floors are wonderful and easy to clean. The yard is fenced in however always check the gates (there are 3 of them) they got left open a lot. So we just took them out on a leash to make sure no escaping. The back area is totally closed in so we were comfortable leaving them out there when we were out there. Kitchen is totally equipt. And it has a great washer and dryer. We love VB and when we come back we will definitely stay here!!

My family stayed here last week. The property was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the raised doggie bowls! Quick walk to a semi private beach. Absolutely lovely!

Over all the house was clean and nicely furnished. A few steps to the beach. The area is dog friendly. Beach is pet friendly and well maintained. Would book again wellaintained. I rs resp away

The Leaping Doodle was fabulous! So quaint and cozy; has everything you need for a relaxing beach week. Extra dog friendly too - dog bowls provided. Our son was stateside for a few weeks and got to stay with us due to proximity to the base. Highly recommend and we’lll be back!
