Steps to Beach, Restaurants, Pet Friendly Rates

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was exactly as described. The house was very spacious so we felt like we were not cramped. My kids really enjoyed playing foosball. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance meant we didn’t spend a lot of time traveling around. This left us with more time for the beach. Oh… and our host was perfect!

Our stay was perfect. The house is very close to the beach and also within walking distance of restaurants, golf cart rentals, and a convenience store, close to everything you need. House was clean and ready. Would book again!!!

The house had everything we need and was easy to access. Very conveniently located to a very calm beach, away from the crowds! We left a tablet behind on our stay and the host was quick to notify us and coordinate mailing it back to us.

The location is great which is why we stayed there 2 years in a row. Last week the property wasn't clean at all. We had to have kids leave socks on instead because floors were filthy. Rugs were still in dryer. Trash and dust balls in corners of room.

It was good great location was a little hot in house when we got there took whole day before we were comfortable.Does have a large step down to one of the rooms for older people.Had to fix the TV because it was not connected properly.

Didn’t realize one bedroom was with bunk beds. We were older adults and more of a challenge to sleep. Otherwise very spacious and great location.

The house is very close to beach access as well as dining and shopping. Typical of some older properties, this house has its quirky side. Many threshold are step ups/downs including a big step to the living room which can have challenges for small kids or people with mobility issues. Some of the aspects of the house are dated or in need of some minor repairs. The one concern was dirty floors which was addressed to the owner who apologized and said it would be rectified before the next guest. They did provide a partial refund for the floor concerns. The kitchen was well stocked and there were beach toys as well as kids pool table and a full sized foos ball table. Internet seemed spotty which we presume is an issue on the island overall. The property was quiet at night. Owner was very good at communication before and during the stay.

I wanted a place for the winter. This was a great place. My family was able to visit and my husband was able to walk the beach every day. The house

Great location, easy to communicate w host, walking distance to restaurants, beach.

Could not walk dogs on the beach. (Main reason for going to this location). Left after one night out of four.Furniture extremely uncomfortable. Issues with TVs and internet.

Never booked on line before. Im too old for that. All worked out well but will have someone else book next time. Place was just what we needed. Clean, plenty of room and location was great.

Great location. 2min walk to the beach, restaurants and stores.The cottage was nice and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the AC works really well. The hostess was very responsive.

Clean Spacious Home!Very close to the beach!We were happy to be able to find things easily in the house due to things being labeled. There was more things provided for you in this home compared to others I've stayed at, like pot, pans, towels, toilet paper and other minor things you can easily forget.Highly recommend! Extremely close to the beach and very clean.

This was just what we were looking for. A second walk to the beach and main road for stores! Clean and enough room for everyone! If we ever go back to Tybee we will be staying at this house!!!!!!

Our family had mixed feelings about this rental. Pros: great location- very short walk to the beach and also to stores and restaurants, plenty of towels in baths and kitchen, A/C works great, plenty of hot water, hand soap/dish soap/clothes detergent all provided, good array of kitchen appliances, comfortable beds, fun foosball table!Cons: much of the furniture/fixtures are broken (doors fall off of cabinets, lamps unstable and fall easily when turning them on/off, broken drawers, base of bathroom cabinet falls onto your feet when you touch it, storm door just swings open without a tether and when you try to catch it the door knob comes off in your hand, etc), there is a fair amount of sand on the floor (I know, it's a beach place), the floors are somewhat slanted, the parking pad is tricky to get a car in/out of. This is a very old house, and it's obvious that it has had some additions made over time. Some of the additions, though adding value, seem a little awkward, and this is something that is hard to appreciate in the listing photos. Also, with the additions, there are several places where thresholds between rooms require stepping up or down where you would not expect it. Though we could deal with that, it might be hard for toddlers or others who are not as steady on their feet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Tybee, but the rental was just OK.

Plenty of character in this place. It was perfect for our trip! The beach access is so close and a short walk to many great restaurants. We loved this spot as this part of the beach is not nearly as crowded as the North and South Beaches. Overall, a wonderful time!

House was clean. Beach is very close. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. The backyard was amazing but the mosquitoes were awful so we didn’t spend any time out there. Georgia mosquitoes are on steroids LOL

The location, close to the beach, was great. There are plenty of places to eat, including the Sugar Shack at the corner. Lots of historical places close by.The bed in the master bedroom with bath needs to have a step stool provided to get into the very high bed. The steps into the living room are very steep.

Great place to stay and relax near the beach and you can find great seafood! Our favorite place to stay on Tybee.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! There was more than enough space for a family of 5! Beach equipment was available for us and definitely helped make up for what we left at home. The closeness to the beach was absolutely amazing and reduced parking fees significantly- additionally the beach was much quieter than down by the pier. We had significant success fishing, finding shells and, shark teeth! We saw dolphins, sharks and a sea turtle from shore! We travel to a new location every year, this hands down has been a family favorite. There were plenty of local restaurants that were able to be biked too and delicious! The host was incredible and allowed us to check in ahead of schedule and remain parked after check out. Hands down best place we have stayed ever!!

Good location to walk to the beach. My kids enjoyed the mini pool table and foosball table. The house is nothing fancy but served our needs.

Location is wonderful! Janine is quick to respond and makes communication so easy. Loved seeing the vintage Tappan oven! I had never seen one like that.Beds are extremely comfortable.

Near the beach pleasant stay!

We had a great time. The neighborhood was nice and quiet at this time of year, and only steps from the beach. The cottage is spacious, though older and not fully updated. We loved having the fenced yard for our dog. Overall a wonderful experience!
