The house is great, cosy, warm and well equipped. The garden is enclosed which means it’s safe for dogs. I couldn’t tell from the photos if it was fully enclosed - and it is. The hot tub is lovely and has a cover so the monsoon rain didn’t bother us and we could also see the stars when the rain did finally stop. The beds are extremely comfortable as are the sofas! The village is really lovely too. The village roasts its own coffee and the village shop doubles up as a little cafe - so you can sit out the back and your drinks in there. The river is lovely and we enjoyed walking along from the ‘top pub’ (which has a sign saying probation office on it ) along to the castle - which is worth a visit also. We didn’t try out the pubs - but they were both open - and we just loved our stay.. despite the rubbish pre-Easter weather. Thank you!!
