Stayed Sep 16, 2025This was a lovely, quiet spot for a fall family vacation. Being right on the sound is actually quite nice. It’s great to sit on the deck and watch the birds in the marsh and see fish and shrimp jumping in the water. The provided kayaks, paddleboard, and life jackets enabled our whole family to go out and explore the sound together. It’s a very safe, low traffic, protected area of the sound. The ocean is close enough that we could easily walk down and back multiple times per day, going back for lunch/snacks or just to get out of the heat of the day. The kids especially enjoyed the collection of legos at the house. It was a decent layout for our family of 5. The kitchen is well enough equipped for vacation fare. The outdoor shower was excellent for getting all the sand off after every trip to the ocean. Overall, a really nice spot!
