Spent happy week here in November in awful weather! Cottage has open stairs and virtually no landing which was uncomfortable in the night if you needed the bathroom. Not good for tall people as low lintels. Otherwise very comfortable. Nice kitchen, living room and extra sitting room. Lacked a tea strainer for those of us that bring tea leaves! Very convenient for Bath without the price. Lovely village of Marshfield not far away.

Rose Cottage is delightful! Lots of character whilst providing plenty of modern home comforts. Everything was spotlessly clean. Cold Ashton is a sleepy village with no facilities within walking distance. Marshfield is the closest town which has a couple of pubs and a general store. The owner of Rose Cottage, Monika, is extremely helpful and friendly. Rose Cottage is perfect for couples or families with young children. The log fire in the front room was great to come home to after a day's walking or cycling. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was our 3rd time at the property and is ideal for the comfort and facilities provided by the property. The countryside is on the doorstep and all amenities are a short car journey away. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Rose Cottage was beautiful and cosy. It was a real home from home. The hamlet it is in was very quiet even with a road diversion. The two pubs in the next village served good meals.

An idyllic English country cottage in a wonderfully rural location with views across the fields, yet close enough to Bath to enjoy the delights that the city of Bath has to offer. Monica, the owner, was there to welcome us to the cottage - making us feel like we had a home from home. The wood burning stove in the cosy snug was most welcoming after a long walk in the rain. Likewise the large TV in the sitting room was ideal for watching the rugby World Cup! Thank you.
