Shepherd's Cwtch, a single-storey shepherd's hut, consists of a kitchen with 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, and a dining room. The bedroom is a double. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with furniture, hot tub, and picnic bench, and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shepherd's Cwtch is a wonderful escape to Carmarthenshire, whatever time of year. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 2.6 miles, River Towy 0.5 miles. Town: This pretty market town sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This area is popular for walking, fishing and cycling with the Black Mountains, Crychan Forest, Cwm Rhaeadr and the River Towey waiting to be discovered.
A walk up to the castle is a must as from here you enjoy the views out across the town to the neighbouring River Bran.
