We absolutely loved it and we look forward to our return

It was so comfy and peaceful, everthing was perfect. Not unhappy with anything just a few suggestions. It would have been nice if there were a couple extra throw blankets and an area rug by the couch to make it a bit warmer in the cooler months, but definitely do not want to hide the gorgeous floor and inlay! Plus, Fergus (Terrier puppy/dog) was an absolute plus/delight we wanted to take him home with us. Would defintely recommend!!!

The location is excellent and Joe was very accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. The TV system and heated bathroom floors were a big plus. Outside spaces are cozy.

Joe was a lovely host! He was easy to get in touch with and answer all questions. The property was very clean and spacious and the blackout curtains were a great touch! We got to meet Fergus, which was an added bonus as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

Joe was very friendly and so were the pups! Perfect little spot to have as home base for wine country. Very comfortable size and a beautiful setting, and the gate on property felt like an extra layer of safety on a trip.

My sister and I had an excellent stay! Joe was extremely accommodating and friendly. Walking distance to Sonoma Square - very safe and beautiful area. Would stay here again.

The place was quiet, clean, comfy and well-kept. The king size bed was very comfortable. I appreciate the step stool (at least that’s what I think it was) for getting in and out of the claw foot tub. The whole place was very charming with a great outdoor patio. Bonus points for the friendly orange cat who came by to say hi. We would rent this property again!

We had such a nice time at Joe's beautiful and comfortable guest cottage. The bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed, plenty of closet and luggage space, and both light-blocking and light-filtering window coverings. The living area has a comfortable couch and excellent large TV. In addition, there are so many thoughtful touches that make for a completely harmonious visit: thorough instructions for media and other features of the cottage; soft lighting with dimmers; well stocked kitchenette; screened windows and doors for those who prefer fresh air to A/C; shaded and comfortable outdoor seating surrounded by bee and bird-friendly native plantings. We especially loved sitting outside and the frequent short visits by Joe's sweet dog, Fergus.The overall property is quiet, spacious and secure. We enjoyed walking to the nearby Sonoma Garden Park, a charming community garden. Wineries and the square are just a short drive away.Highly recommended!

My husband and I came to Sonoma for our son’s wedding. We needed a quiet refuge and that is what we found. Simple and lovely!

We stayed here for a wedding, and the space was beyond perfect. A lovely backyard, comfortable bed, cozy couch, and awesome bathroom; we got a surprise weekend getaway we didn’t know we needed! Thanks for having us, Joe!

A solo 3 night stay, this guest cottage was just what I needed. My favorite thing was the claw foot soaker tub. What a rare and special treat! The back yard has a patio table with umbrella- very comfortable and lovely surroundings. The bed was firm yet soft, if that’s even possible- heavenly.The cottage main living area is quite dark . The little heater stove worked quickly and easily. I’m guessing this space will be very comfortably cool in summer heat. Overall, a gorgeous property . Joe is warm, helpful and

The cottage was beautifully appointed and had everything needed for a relaxing weekend. The chairs in the front yard were perfect for sitting down for a few hours to read, in between visits to town and the surrounding area. Meeting Fergus was an added bonus!

Great location, stocked with tea, coffee, hair dryer and some toiletries. Joe and his adorable dog Fergus were very welcoming and also gave us privacy, despite the VRBO being a guesthouse on their property. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and well equipped cottage ~1 mile from the Sonoma Plaza. Very nice backyard, comfortable bed - perfect for a weekend getaway in wine country!

Perfect location and peaceful atmosphere. A great place to unwined!

We stayed 2 night at the end of September. Perfect for a couple of nights. The only complaint would be that’s not walking distance to downtown so you have to drive. There’s also no sidewalk so if you hence it and walk you have to walk on the road.

We’ve stayed here a few times before and it’s always a pleasure. Very comfortable and so convenient. Privacy is guaranteed and little Ferguson the dog stops by to say hi. So cute!

This is a one bedroom house with large bath, bedroom, and living/dining with kitchenette. Everything worked. Very advanced large flat screen television which allowed us to watch the U S Open Tennis better than if we were there. The owner is very laissez faire which suited us fine. The house only accommodates two people.

Close to places we needed to go, quiet and we enjoyed our time.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at this very lovely garden cottage. The grounds are a beautifully landscaped garden setting which made for a very enjoyable, relaxing way to spend a couple getaway to wine country. After tasting some local wines we liked coming back to relax and refresh outside in the great weather we had. Joe was very available and communicative and responded to any questions we had within minutes, while also allowing our privacy. We enjoyed meeting his little dog Fergus who stopped by to say hello. Everything was as it looked on vrbo and spotless upon arrival. Next time we find ourselves back in Sonoma we hope to stay here again, if available. Thanks Joe!

The guest house has everything you need to enjoy your stay, very clean, comfortable king bed, fluffy towels. Having morning coffee in the beautiful backyard was a blast! Thank you, Joe! We will come back!
