Picture waking up each morning with the soothing sounds of nature surrounding your PEI cottage. Birds singing, squirrels scampering through the trees and the call of a mallard breaks the stillness in the cool morning air. Grab a coffee and walk down to the deck overlooking the lake and smell the freshness. Watch and listen as the still lake is interrupted by trout drawing ripples in the mirror surface.

This cottage is one of our two bedroom cottages. Both two bedroom cottages have double beds in each bedroom and a new pullout sofa in the living room. The kitchens in all the cottages are fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee pot, Satellite TV and DVD. Dishes and cutlery.

The screened porch is a great place to sit in the fresh air. Smoking is permitted on the porch. We ask that you do not smoke in the cottages. We provide a smoke free environment in all our rooms. Cigarette smoking is allowed on the porch of the cottages with ashtrays provided. Please keep the cottage door close if smoking on the porch. We are a Cannabis free property. The use of Cannabis is prohibited anywhere on our property. Thanks for your cooperation.

All the cottages are equipped with fans; some have ceiling fans and other have portable fans. Outside you have a picnic table and a charcoal BBQ. Gas BBQs are available at a small fee for the propane

Very, very rustic but very quiet. From the porch area, you can't see the lake which would have been a bonus. Floors were not overly clean. Paper towels should be provided. Must buy charcoal for bbq. Beds were very comfortable & towels provided.

We were not impressed with the lack of kitchen supplies-no paper towels or napkins, saran wrap or tin foil, baking pans, sharp knives, large pot, left over containers, garbage bags. Hard for a family staying a week. The green box was 6x6. We had watermelon and corn alot. box filled fast. It advertised washer & dryer but didnt inforn we need to pay for it in a seperate building. It was very hot but had to pay extra for air conditioning. The ad mentioned a couple cabins-there were 5. So close together that the pot smoke from the women on our right came into our window while she was at her bbq. (We heard her walking in her cabin)The paddle boat was full of water, debris. We had to ask for it to be cleaned to use it. The ad mentions office hours. It does not mention there will be no hosting outside those hours even if the hosts are on site. We asked the hostess at 750pm (1rst night of arrival. Our 10 yr old had been in back seat for 5 hrs) for a towel to clean the paddle boat because it was a mess but we had promised him we would do that when we got there. She was standing outside her front door, she said no, im tired, i'll do it tomorrow. I work from 5am. Im done she was visibly frustrated and overwhelmed. My son was disappointed and i was shocked by her unprofessional behavior. The ad said dog friendly. It doesnt say it has to stay on the floor at all times.I would not recommend for family.

We enjoyed our time with Tanja and Karl ay lake and Forest. On a hot humid day, we appriciated the cool lake, even after a day at the beach. Lots to see at this end of the Island and any questions we had of our facilities were addressed quickly with Karl. We stayed in the cottage but had access to breakfast and the laundry room. solid 4.5 / 5

Come as guests, Leave as friends was one of the slogans on the wall at the head office of this premise. And indeed when there for our week vacation owners Tanja and Karl lived up up to that motto. They were always accommodating and I will certainly recommended this establishment to any one. We will certainly come back!

We spent a great two days on the East Coast of PEI. The host helped us maximize our short with excellent local knowledge.

Nice little two bedroom on the East end of PEI. Spend two nights and had a great time with interesting things to do within a short drive. Only downside are the beds are little tight for two adults.

It was a great experience. The screened in pouch was definitely beneficial because the bugs were insane.
