Our third stay here. A great little cottage with wonderful views and cozy accommodation. We always enjoy listening to the seals from the screened in porch.

Quiet and relaxing. Lots of hares visiting and daily seal wake up calls. Loved the screened in and lit back porch. Was great for sitting out to eat or read into the evening.

We spent 4 days at this oceanfront cottage and loved much about it. The host was warm and very accommodating. The location feels remote and peaceful, yet it’s easy to find with GPS. A winding drive brings you to a home that looks just like the pictures. The star of the stay is the view of the Northumberland Strait—seals, rabbits, birdsong, and even the occasional eagle make it unforgettable. From the airy living room and screened porch, you’ll hear waves all day.Inside, the cottage is cozy, clean and bright thanks to high ceilings and plenty of windows. Beds and pillows are comfortable, the shower works well, and WiFi was flawless. The kitchen is stocked for cooking, though you’ll need round coffee filters and supplies from Montague’s supermarkets. There’s an extra loft bed too, though with no light. That said, there are things to know. The house has no dishwasher, waste sorting isn’t explained, and the thin wooden walls carry every sound, making privacy tough. Beach access isn’t available, despite the oceanfront setting. The biggest drawback is the insects—mosquitoes, flies, ants, even wasps. They aggressively swarm outside and sneak indoors despite the screened porch, which had holes during our stay. The firepit and chairs looked inviting, but bugs made them unusable. In short, this is a beautiful, secluded spot with unbeatable views and comfort inside. Just arrive prepared for relentless insects and be aware future nearby development may reduce its quiet charm.

Was quite and relaxing but would of loved less wooded and more view of the seaNow I know why they call it the rocky shore would have been nice to be able to walk along the shore Lucky for the screen in porch cause they were lots of mosquitoes but overall nice little cottage and another thing couldn’t figure out the tv Ps loved the flowers

We have been traveling through the USA and Canada for over six weeks, and this has been our favorite property. You do need to enjoy solitude because you can not see any human neighbors. There are rabbits, birds, bees, seals, and mosquitoes as neighbors. The first four are great neighbors, just bring spray for that last one. No problem in the cottage. The view is a million one. Saw fishing boats and a cruise ship once way out. The lighthouse is only a short walk away.Just quiet and peaceful.

This was our third stay at the cottage. Very peaceful, natural beauty. I am an early riser, so I especially love the sunrises!

There were no instructions left for operating any equipment, like the TV. No info on dealing with waste. There was no electricity in the loft. While overall it was ok, we didn’t feel it was worth the total charged.

This is a charming cottage for getting away from it all. Secluded and rustic. Wildlife and wildflowers. We enjoy cooking for ourselves during vacations, so the kitchen is a plus. Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!

Very pleased with our stay here. Amazing views we had a blast being able to watch the seals swimming from the back yard while watching the rabbits who were always around with us outside?

Loved the cottage and its tucked away peaceful location. That was what we were looking for. Clean and decorated lovely. The cleared path to the point was a perfect spot to watch the sun rise. The screened in porch was a necessity for enjoying the view, as the bugs were many. Had an issue getting wifi access upon arrival and had to call property manager who responded without delay.Would have liked an informative sheet upon arrival with a few things listed like wifi acess code, tv acess directions ... Need to bring own beach chairs and towels for beach trips and firepot...would have liked to have had access to those items at cottage without having to travel with them. It was a wonderful stay. A much needed calm and peaceful vacation. Prince edward isle is beautiful. Loved the eastern coastal drive...incredible views and scenic spots everywhere. Wasn't impressed with charlottetown or summerside, although the food at the jolly roger in summerside was fantastic...best fried food. The lobster shack in souris was best on island that we had.
