We had a wonderful stay at Dewey Beach! The house was in a great location. It was very walkable to restaurants, bars, and breweries. The house was perfect for our dog. Be sure to bring your own comforters, sheets, and towels- they were not provided. We would definitely return again!

Everything about this property was wonderful it is clean it is in an unbeatable location the beach is right there the privacy makes it feel very secluded but it literally is in the perfect location the beds were extremely comfortable the house was extremely clean the decor was super cute absolutely would highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this beach cottage. The location was perfect - just steps away from the beach, bay, shops, and restaurants. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated that the cottage was dog friendly, our dog had the best time ever exploring on the beach. We would highly reccommend this property to anyone and hope to be back soon.

It was wonderful to stay in the cottage for a much needed Christmas break, and we loved all the special Christmas decorations! We would definitely like to return when the weather is a little warmer to take advantage of your lovely porch and garden. We loved the privacy of the outdoor space and it is perfect if you have a dog. The location was also great with some restaurants nearby and also being so close to downtown Rehoboth. And of course being a block from the beach is also amazing! I would not hesitate to go back again!

Great stay!

This is a super cute cottage and very clean. The host was very responsive with questions. If I was to say anything it would only be having to bring all our liens. Thou it’s just three of us it took a lot of car space. However, we will probably come back again.

Gorgeous cottage just steps from the beach and right in the heart of Dewey. It was spotless, well-organized, and felt instantly welcoming. The owners were very responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely stay here again!

First off this place is definitely a gem!!!! The space is laid oit to optimize every inch! Super clean and so homey. The pictures do NOT do it justic. All the little details included. Convient to the Starboard Restaurant and walling to the beach !!! So many wonderful aspects.

It was the perfect getaway for my husband, three daughters and two pets. I loved that it was fenced in for the dogs and private. The beach was only a few minutes walking distance. Susan was an exceptional host responding quickly.

We love staying here and have done so several times. The cottage has everything you need and is very clean. It is also close to everything we like to do. The owners are fantastic.

We went without pets but it was a great setup for pets . Kitchen was perfect as the rest of the house. Sadly it already booked for next year .

Hidden from the street, this cottage brings a quiet, and private feel to the property despite being right behind Dewey Beer Co. Easy walk to the beach, so don’t worry if you forgot anything at the house. Comfortable beds assure a good nights rest. The outdoor shower has fairy lights and great water pressure. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Long time Dewey visitor, first time staying here. The house was perfect and clean. A quiet space in the middle of the Dewey entertainment! The screened in porch and landscaping was really nice. The location was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. My husband, dog and myself really enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay. The place is wonderful and in a very convenient location to walk to everywhere. The kitchen is well stocked. We especially loved the patio and screened porch. I found this place about 4 years ago but had to cancel due to circumstances beyond my control but shared with friends who have been renting every year and are also going back in a couple weeks...glad I finally made it. It's a great place!

This house was perfect for a family with small kids and dog friendly. Breakfast and lunch in the screened porch, nice outdoor shower, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Sue was very quick to respond to questions. Wish we had booked longer.

I can’t speak highly enough about our stay here! The location is perfect, close to the beach and nightlife. I was a little nervous about the potential noise level at night but it honestly felt so secluded and quiet. Sitting out on the back porch was a highlight, the fan creates a lovely breeze even in the heat. The outdoor shower was absolutely incredible, so roomy and with a rain showerhead so we were all fighting over it after the beach. We loved how cozy and comfortable the cottage was, it was perfect for my family to catch up together while also not fighting for space in the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was perfectly clean and the decor was also so cute. We only had to communicate with the owners once, to ask how to open the outdoor shower, and they answered immediately. We all decided we want to come back when we can!

It was an excellent spot for my family. We highly recommend others to stay here when visiting Dewey Beach, DE.

I had planned this trip a year in advance as I wanted a true east coast beach vacation - coming from California- and nothing disappointed! The house is adorable and in the best location - right on the beach block. Everything you need is in walking distance. And the outdoor shower was the icing on the cake! The house is so well stocked and we grilled and it was so nice to eat on the screened in porch. The water was warm and the sand so soft. Cannot wait to come back. Thanks Bernie and Sue!

Perfect location, quiet, easy access to everything

Very nice dog friendly property and well kept! Very close to beach, spacious screened in porch and gorgeous landscaping and outdoor shower. Main bathroom shower on the small side and got unlucky with the loud renters in the property in front of us all week and their smoking so unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space but not a reflection on this beautiful and homey rental that's close to everything Dewey has to offer.

This is one of many stays at this cottage, and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. The owners are very responsive. The unit is clean and has everything you need for a great stay.

We enjoyed our time in Dewey Beach because of this super-clean house and great location. Pups were happy because we were off the main road with less distractions, but still close to the beach and main drive. We spent a lot of time hiking and biking, and this was a great takeoff point to parks and trails in the area- plus we were within walking distance to a lot of restaurant options.

This was our 4th stay at Bernie & Sue’s place and we love it more and more with each stay. The location is perfect, the house is lovely, and the hosts are exceptional. We’ll be back!

We had an excellent stay. It's an adorable little beach cottage, perfectly located. Excellent outdoor shower!Note for future renters: Even though they're in the pictures, blankets/comforters are not provided. We have stayed in multiple BYO linen rentals before where basic blankets and hand towels were included, so we only packed sheets and bath towels. Be sure to pack entire towel and bedding SETS (hand towel, bathmat, comforter, etc.)

Went last minute for a get away early in the week. Location is absolutely premium. House was exactly as listed, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay in Dewey Beach was wonderful We got to explore the area an including Rehoboth and Bethany Beach. Very quiet with a short walk to the beach. Just be aware as I made this mistake photos show spreads on beds but the description clearly states all bedding and towels are provided by the tenant.it worked out fine just read everything Again thank you to our hostsMary and Mark

My sister, her husband and a friend stayedfrom March 18th to March21st. 2025. The cottage was just perfect for all four of us and our two dogs. The screened in porch was the best to sit and relax. The completely fenced in yard was ideal for the dogs. A very clean, well stocked cottage. We will definitely go back.Barb

The pet friendly house was everything the web site stated. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked and bed was comfortable. The photos showed the place perfectly. The brewery next door was very quiet. Location was easy for us to get to Milton for house hunting. In the summer the front porch would be great to use and also great for large groups. Would stay there again. Highly recommend for other people.

Nothin better than beach walking when it is freezing out. Perfect reset from this miserable winter weather. Hiked cape henlopen and had some awesome meals out.

Cottage was perfect for us, the kitchen was nicely stocked with extras like cooking spray, spices and foil. It’s set back from the street front with a lovely outdoor sitting area and screened porch, which I think would be really nice in warm weather. It’s only a few houses away from the beach, and my dog loved every second of being off leash and running free. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great little cottage, in an incredibly convenient location! Just a few houses from the beach, tucked away and quiet, but great restaurants just a few steps away. Clean and convenient - we were very grateful to have found this place!

Went in, unpacked and left my medication in the house. & left to do some shopping. Came back the first night and discovered that the top lock on the front door malfunctioned and we were locked out. Left messages on the app, many times, no response. Used the ring on the front door to let then owner know that this is an emergency. No reply. Gave up trying to contact them around midnight. Drove 2 hours back Home, still no response. Called again the next morning and left another message. She finally contacted me & said her husband was on his way to open the door. And later left a message that the door was now unlocked. Lost the first night & was stressed out. Her response was ‘ we are baffled, this never happened before’ no sorry, just a little chuckle. Nice house, nice location but the owners lack of concern about their lock malfunctioning is alarming, especially when they were told that my medication was in there. If you stay there i suggest you dont leave medication, keys, laptops, or phones in there. I am still upset about the lack of concern on the part of the owners. Paid for 2 nights but stayed 1 night, due to their malfunctioning lock. The reviews were very positive so I am still confused. Stay at your own risk. Sleeping outside or in your car is a reasonable option for you, go for it.

We have stayed here many times. Sue and Bernie take great care of their cottage. My family feels comfortable in this cottage it is always clean and updated.Its secluded and private but also right in the heart of Dewey. Perfect space to share with family and your dog!Already scheduled our next visit here in the Spring! I love this cottage❤️

Return trip this October to this charming, well-stocked beach house. Great location and pet-friendly. One criticism, inside shower is very tight/small for older people.

This location is close to the beach and easy to find. Location is great if you want to explore Dewey Beach. It’s also dog friendly, if you have a doggo. In addition, the outdoor shower was helpful for getting sand off before going into the beach.

This was our first time to Dewey and we had a great time! The location was perfect and the home was lovely. It has everything you could need and the beds were comfortable. Minor issue was the noise at night ( like after midnight and up through 2 am) from the brewery- but that is to be expected when the location is in the heart of the town. The owners were responsive and kind!

We had a great stay, the house is conveniently located and great for both kids and pets. We will definitely be back again.

Love this cottage!

This was our third stay and as always, it's was wonderful. I appreciated the updated dining table. The only part that's lousy is our favorite rental is getting more popular and harder to book!

We have been coming to Dewey for six years with our pets and this was the first time that we have had any problems.. The property was not clean when we arrived and pictures on the site are misleading. We attempted to contact owners on a couple of occasions without a response until our week was over. Very uncomfortable for sleeping and bathrooms were tiny. Will not be staying here in future and will probably not book through Vrbo.

Great location to walk everywhere. Access to restaurants, beach block and Rehoboth without the hustle.
