Sea Mist Cottage, Rockport, MA

The host was attentive and the cottage was lovely. We really can’t say enough about how wonderful our weekend was. Perfect size for us and plenty of amenities. Close enough to downtown Rockport to easily walk

Everything about the Sea Mist Cottage was fantastic. So clean. So cute. Very comfy. Water in the fridge for these weary travellers and my favorite tea in the cupboard. Strong, hot shower. Walkable to all the fun in Rockport. Host was easy to communicate with and friendly.

We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage! Great amenities- made excellent use of the fully equipped kitchen, and we were within walking distance of all of the Rockport highlights: beach, restaurants, and shopping on Bearskin Neck. Easy check in and out; definitely recommend!

Sea Mist was an amazingly clean and welcoming property, in a great walkable location with so many little extras from the bottle of wine to the recommendations from Linda and John. They were so helpful and Rockport was lovely from the shops to the ocean views to the food. We walked everywhere then also took the very short drive to Gloucester for the beach there and a lighthouse boat tour, which was fantastic. Would recommend staying at this location for sure and hope to return if ever back in Rockport again.

A perfect cottage tucked into a property with lovely gardens. It is a private spot located walking distance to shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Linda and John have an excellent cottage with all the fine details of staying there, some of which we wouldn’t have even thought about.

This was our third time coming to stay at the “Seamist Cottage” in Rockport Mass. starting with our Hostess Janet & Mike greeting us and remembering that we stay there before, being very friendly and helpful. It was like coming back to see oldfriends, with this lovely, adorable, immaculate cottage. The cottage is decorated beautifully, & had everything you need for your stay, all you need is your clothes. Plus, out back is a very lovely patio to enjoy. Very private! You will fall in love with this cottage!

The Sea Mist had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The cottage is perfect from the decor, location, and Linda was amazing from check in to check out. The outdoor sitting area was perfect for the evening to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine and coffee in the mornings. We will definitely book the Sea Mist Cottage for our next stay in Rockport, MA. Wonderful place to relax and unwind in. Clean and well kept property. Had many personal touches that made it feel like home. Loved the beautiful private outdoor patio. Would gladly stay there again given the opportunity.

The Sea Mist is a cozy cottage ideally located near the heart of Rockport. It is just a short walk to shops, galleries, restaurants and more. The area is quiet. The cottage is charming and surrounded by lovely gardens. Linda and John are excellent hosts. I am a repeat visitor.

My husband and I have been visiting Rockport for years but this was our first VRBO and was simply perfect. The beach decor is attractive and the attention to detail from Linda and John is impressive. The location is convenient to Bearskin Neck, the beaches and restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed. The place was immaculately clean. We enjoyed tea on our little patio every morning! We would absolutely stay again!

We had an excellent stay at the Sea Mist Cottage. Location is just minutes away from Rockport beaches and attractions. The cottage is clean, quaint and has a good-sized well-appointed kitchen and an outdoor patio to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Our hosts John and Linda are welcoming and knowledgeable about Rockport and Cape Ann. We were hooked on the cheerful beach/nautical decor. Their personal touches enhanced our Rockport experience and made us feel at home. We look forward to returning.
