Stayed Jul 13, 2025Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Lorraine’s mom. For the most insane coconut bread ever and Lorraine’s cafe for amazing food. Rent a boat for the day and explore all the wonderful islands!

Stayed Mar 19, 2025I almost hesitate to say how impressed we were with everything because I want to keep this gem for ourselves, but the hosts deserve the praise and the business. We honestly could not have been more impressed with the open communication and level of service from the hosts, the location and cleanliness of the cottage, and the amazing friendly and relaxed vibe of the entire cay. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Mar 13, 2025Such a beautiful stay. Ida and Terren took care of all details with the cottage as well as a private tour and use of golf carts. The cottage is a gem! The view, the amenities, just everything were perfect. The town is lovely and the people are so kind. We love this place and hope to return!

Stayed Jul 19, 2022I loved the people! Loved the food. Lorraine’s daughter is an artist, her shop is in the airport. Loved the little airport. The views are breathtaking. Ida and her family take care of a golf cart and boat excursions. Exumas is my favorite place. I always return. If you just want to relax and enjoy the island, best place to go. I can’t say enough great things about Black point. I’ll be back to bring candy for the children. Side note the steps to beach are not for bad knee’s Thank you to everyone I meet

Stayed Jul 4, 2022We had an amazing time during our stay at one of Ida’s beach cottages. Incredible views front porch and back!! The cottage itself is cozy and clean with great air conditioning and everything we needed to make meals in the kitchenette. Food on the island is quite expensive so we definitely recommend flying in work as much as you can!! But we really enjoyed visiting the local groceries and the restaurants on the island. The golf cart rental is highly recommended, we used it everyday and had a blast exploring this incredible island paradise!! Also, we had the perfect day on a boat tour with Terrin, he took us to several top attractions around the Exumas and it was spectacular!!! Thanks again to the Patton family and we sure hope to return some day!!
