Stayed Oct 9, 2024The cottage was beautiful and simple. Exactly what we were looking for. The views were spectacular. The only note I would make is that guest should be aware that the parking is downhill from the property which requires you to lug your luggage and groceries up a switch back to the top of the property. We loved it and would rent again!

Stayed Jul 15, 2024Incredible property, incredible views, in a really quiet location and the town is very quiet and beach is 20 mins walk away, albeit a steep one. Had a lovely time perfect for us

Stayed May 19, 2024A further return to this favoured part of the island and our favourite place to stay The location is wonderful being incredibly private but also walkable to village facilities ( an uphill climb but for anyone staying in this area this is fairly standard) The property is well equipped and comfortable with stunning views from inside and out and amazing outside space

Stayed Sep 16, 2022A lovely villa in a fabulous location, with views to die for. We loved the eclectic mix of antique furnishing and the numerous seating areas around the property. Ants...as other reviews, quite easily dealt with The small village of Banyalbufar was perfect for our needs and provided enough bars and restaurants for a stroll down the hill for supper...a little tougher going back up... lighting along the path would help. A delightful place to chill and take in the views.

Stayed Apr 2, 2022We loved this place. Even better than in the photos. A beautiful location with stunning views - and a wonderful garden. House was clean and well proportioned and had a lovely new kitchen with all the amenities you need.

Stayed Jul 24, 2021We had the most wonderful week in this beautiful property. The finca itself is rustic, quirky and characterful, with super comfy beds, but the jewel in the crown of this very special place is the outdoor space and sea views. It is nestled towards the top of a hill and is very private and peaceful. The garden is devine, with lots of mature planting, including oleander and gorgeous palm trees and the views…well, they are stunning. All around you have the most magnificent views of the beautiful blue sea. We could look at that all day long. It was like a different world and really relaxing and restorative. Things to note would be that the hill to the house is rather steep (but not too long), the road to the house is narrow in a car, but not a problem once you have got used to it and ants will appear if any food is left out (solution is to put all food in the fridge and don’t leave anything out). None of this would put us off, we just mention these as things to note. The owner Anna was exceptional in her correspondence, always including a great amount of detail and helpful information. We never normally return to the same accommodation, but this was so incredible and magical for us, we definitely hope to return before too long. We had just the best time! Thank you Anna for letting us stay.

Stayed Oct 9, 2019The website photographs are an accurate representation of the setting, charm and beauty of the property. This is a fantastic place to stay if you are reasonably fit ( it is a steep climb from the village), love natural beauty and enjoy the feeling that you are staying as a house guest in the owner’s well loved holiday home, rather than a clinical holiday villa with no sense of place.. The house is well equipped and the views from the charming gardens are spectacular. The property is ideally placed to enjoy the amenities of the lovely village of Banyabufar which include a good choice of restaurants, all within decent walking distance. Highly recommended.

Stayed Aug 17, 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a fabulous position with lots of places to sit in the garden and enjoy the views; the outside space was our favourite part. The pool is very refreshing on a hot day. The house itself is rustic but comfortable. The ant problem mentioned in other reviews is solved if you keep everything clean and nothing lying around (even dead bugs!). Banyalbufar itself is a sleepy and non touristy village with two shops for provisions and a selection of restaurants. It is quite easy to reach neighbouring towns and attractions. Be warned though, you can only get a small car up the hill to the property!
