Rural holiday home in the Leie region

Very friendly hosts nothing is too much trouble good location for all the local tourist towns and museums

We just spent 4 days in this charming accommodation. Dirk was so helpful with everything and went out of his way to arrange internet connection to our tv so that we had some English options to watch. Beds and pillows nice and comfortable and Bruges only 3/4hr drive by car. Great to be able to watch our clothes and do our own cooking. We would definitely come back

Lovely welcome from Dirk and Anne when we arrived. The holiday home has been made to feel more like a real home where you can relax at the end of a long day. We can’t wait to return. The house is wonderful, perfectly looked after by its owners, cleaned and full of typical and original things. We could feel the passion and love of its owners, that live on the same building. Outside, the garden is so relaxing and perfectly cured. Mr Dirk, together with his wife, has been a very very kind and attentive host. Since the preparation phase he provided me with all the proper info via email or on phone line. We arrived very late in the evening, but he was there, waiting for us! During our journey he gave us many usefull advices. A very very kind person, a perfect representative of such a beautiful place!

We arrived a little early at the property, but our hosts were just super happy to welcome us to their property. The house was lovely and cosy especially at night where we went upstairs and watched tv on the couch. The house was situated in a lovely quiet part of town with lots of birds in the nearby lake. We only stayed 2 nights but would have really have loved to stay longer. We visited nearby Brugge, which was incredibly old and had some fantastic lace, beer and hot chocolate. Our host Dirk was extremely friendly and eager to help and even went so far to help us replace a damaged tyre on our car, first thing Monday morning within an hour , which allowed us to have our holiday without stressing.

We had a wonderful week here, with a mixture of sightseeing and relaxing. Dirk and Anne are wonderful hosts who have clearly put a great deal of consideration, time and effort into providing well-equipped and beautiful accommodation. They were also very helpful with tips about the area, parking and other practical information. We would love to go back!

Dirk and Anne could not have been more hospitable. From the welcome beverages to the customization of the home for the unique makeup of our party to so many thoughtful little touches around the home to excellent communication from start to finish to sharing some lovely conversations, we could not have felt more at home. Thank you for everything!

This place is perfect in every sense, clean and tidy. Hospitable hosts love their home very much and put their whole soul and heart into it. And I must say, they do it excellently! To our great regret, we were able to catch only a two-day vacation there, but these days breathed into us spiritual strength and inner peace. The children also liked everything, the owner showed his eldest son his garden and apiary, and the youngest daughter enjoyed success with the hostess, went down the children's slide and rode on a swing. We liked the house and the people who hosted us so much that we didn’t even want to go anywhere to see the surrounding sights. We will definitely go back as soon as we get the chance!

We have an amazing experience staying at Dirk and Anne's house. The house is beautiful, we enjoy our time there. It is near of some interesting places. Dirk gave us useful information and was very kind. We definitely come back to have a longer stay.
