Stayed Aug 20, 2022We chose this area because we love outdoor activities, especially hiking and MTB but are also very interested in cultural and historic sites.Pobes is a small village located very central in the Basque Country. From a visit to the world famous Guggenheim museum to climbing up steep mountains , everything is within driving distance.. Since this place is located in a small rural community, there is also all the privacy, peace and quiet you could wish for. The accommodation is surprisingly large with all the amenities and luxuries you could wish for. The owner is very friendly and helped us beyond the call of duty, Not only did he wait up for us for check in, because we got there extremely late due to traffic, He also gave us a ride into the next town when our car broke down and we needed a rented car . We will definitely come back!
