Stayed Aug 15, 2025This is our third time to return to Rosewater Cottage It is lovely and serene and has a special aura about it. We love to sit in the Adirondack chairs and watch the lobster boats. There is so much to do in the area- Mohegan Island, sunset schooner sails , eating great area lobster, going to the Maine botanical gardens and shopping for cute local souvenirs in Boothbay. The list is really endless. Rosewater. Cottage is our happy place!?

Stayed Oct 1, 2022Cottage was very cozy with excellent location by the ocean. We could not have been happier. Location was great for touring coastal bays and light houses. We will likely rent again next year.

Stayed Jun 4, 2021Rosewater Cottage’s location is perfect - right on the edge of Linekin Bay and only a few minutes drive to Boothbay Harbor if you can pull yourself away from this charming and comfortable cottage.

Stayed Jun 10, 2019We could have spent our days at the house - watching water birds, eiders and more just outside our window or lobstermen hauling in their traps. A lovely, restful cottage and close to Boothbay Harbor and boat rides, restaurants and shops. It was ideal for our family gathering.
