This was the closest I will be to a fairytale cottage. I loved everything about it and my only regret is not staying longer. Kurt and Eleanor are very sweet. The area is beautiful to walk around. The town is very cute. The cottage was quiet and beautiful. It had everything we needed to make our stay special. Now I can't wait to go back. This place is magical!

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It is very cute both inside and outside. The little community in which it is located is very interesting, too. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. There is everything one would need for a stay, including a snug but adequate kitchen. Kurt and his mom are excellent hosts; they made us feel very welcome. Communication was easy. We had a wonderful time.

The hosts are amazing! Super friendly and I felt so safe traveling solo. It was well below freezing but I was warm and cozy. Having the ac hitting the couch was my favorite spot in the house. I can’t wait to come back in the spring to walk in the canal trail (which is so close to this property).

We loved the village and our cottage! The area is so charming with a fabulous old world vibe. It’s tranquil and quiet, close to the towpath for walks and a short drive to all that New Hope has to offer. Historic day trips are within easy reach as well. We were disappointed the restaurant next door was closed but happy to see a sold sign the day we left so we’re sure it will be an asset to the village again soon! We hope to visit again

The cottage was nothing like it was advertised to be and depicted in the accompanying photos. The place was musty with old furniture, a bathroom and shower that were horrible, and spiders and other creatures crawled throughout the interior. The location was advertised as being a convenient walk to downtown New Hope, which it was not. The photos listed in Vrbo were clearly from a much earlier time.

Kurt, the property manager, gave us an amazing tour when we arrived which really added to the charm of this place. My wife is currently pregnant so we didn’t take advantage of how close the hiking trail into New Hope was to the cottage but it was a really short drive into town. We appreciated that we were outside of the downtown area because it made it even easier to get to other cute places we wanted to experience in the area. Very charming cottage and great experience overall.
