Stayed Mar 21, 2026The rental appears nice in photos, but our stay revealed several issues that need attention. The house was not clean — dirty towels in the closet, unwashed sheets in the master, and a used sponge in the kitchen. The dryer wasn’t vented, the lint trap was wet and moldy, and there was no light in the laundry room. There were not enough hand towels or washcloths. The coffee maker only brewed halfway, and the guest shower ran either extremely hot or cold. The Wi-Fi network name didn’t match, and while the host replied quickly about that, the response didn’t resolve the problem. We also emailed twice with other questions and never heard back. The property needs better cleaning, maintenance, and management before it’s ready for guests.

Stayed Mar 17, 2026We had a wonderful time. The home was as described. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time in the back yard enjoying the day and night. We used the fire pit two different night and toasted marshmallows. We cooked steaks on the grill. Even know the water level was low in the canal due to the drought there was still enough water to kayak and fish. We fished in the canal right in the back yard and caught several bass. We watched small schools of mullet travel thru every day. We enjoyed watching raccoons, wild ducks, curlews, owls, kites, and even a white peacock visit the property. We could hear the Emu’s off in the distance which was also pretty neat. The back yard was completely fence and my sister’s little Jack Russell’s loved running around and searching for lizards. The kayaks were nice but I would have to invest in a seat back if I used them regularly. Everyone used the ping pong table and footsball tables on the back porch sometime during the visit. The WiFi worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked everyday.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025This home was clean and beautifully decorated! The kids were able to fish and kayak. There are 4 pictured, however there were only two single rider kayaks when we got there. So many fun games were available and the kids were never bored! Definitely a favorite spot of mine!

Stayed Dec 28, 2024We have been spending New Year's Eve at the Halls River for the past eight years but I think we finally found our home away from home. The place is perfect for our family of four, it's beautifully decorated and it has lovely outdoor and indoor spaces to relax. We were lucky enough to see manatees right from the deck and many more just a short paddle away. Needless to say we already booked our next stay!

Stayed Dec 24, 2024Property was as described in photos except there were only 2 kayaks not 4 like photo showed. Each room is uniu decorated and nice. No tv’s or fans in the rooms if you like those. Every bed has a Casper mattress. The game room is an added bonus. The yard is perfect for dogs or kids to play. The view is beautiful. We grilled dinner and sat by the fire pit. We were very relaxed and had everything we needed for our short stay. Would love to return in summer time when it’s warmer and float in the water rich in the back yard!

Stayed Aug 9, 2024This place was great, pictures are very accurate, lots of space for a group of 9 to spread out. Ping pong, Giant Jenga and other games provided added tons of fun. Beds and bedding are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great place.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Our stay was comfortable; all of us were happy with our accommodations. Being right on the water was a great feature and we loved having the kayaks so easily accessible. It's hard to tell in the photos but the yard is fenced which is great if you have dogs. There's a big side yard for them to play/run around in. A few things in the house need attention, but my guess is that this place gets a lot of traffic and wear and tear happens. The location is just two minutes off the main road making it easy to get to anything you need, plus the attractions in both Homossassa and Crystal River. However, you feel like your in a quiet secluded area. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed May 2, 2024The location in Homosassa is nice and right on a water canal. The house is decorated very cute, but that’s all that was good with our stay. I arrived a day before my family did. When I arrived at night, I found 3 of the back doors were unlocked and one was open. Needless to say I did not feel safe! In the kitchen I noticed the inside of the kitchen drawers were dirty and there were dirty utensils in there as well. I went to go wash them, then found the kitchen sponge that needed to be thrown away with German cockroaches in it. I had to go to Publix and purchase a new sponge, dishwasher detergent and more paper towels. They only supplied one small roll. I also had to clean several spots on the floor where there was some type of sticky substance. The cleaning job was very poor. There was a breadcrumb about the size of a quarter right next to the pullout garbage can in the kitchen. I found more cockroaches in the master bathroom also. Friday we noticed the AC would not go below 75. Saturday morning I called to have someone come out and look at it. The repair guy came and unclogged the drain and then left right away. Then shortly after the AC stopped working completely we had to call and get the repair guy back out but in the meantime we had to get ready for our nephews wedding, and my son was in the wedding party. We were all taking cold showers so that we could cool down because it was in the 80s inside the house. The management team is no help! Stay away!
