Relaxing Riverfront Cottage w/ Boat Dock!

The cottage was spectacular! We walked in and the place was so clean and stocked with all the basics you would need for a river weekend getaway. We brought our boat down for the weekend, and the dock had solar led lights to guide us back to the dock - very nice touch! The only negative was the stove top was cracked and didn’t realize till after we purchased food at the grocery store.

This place was absolutely amazing! The view is one of the best views weve had. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the river but our stay was just a short weekend . Kim is great and the house was well stocked and very clean.

This is a lovely property! The screened porch is the cherry on top! The house was SPOTLESS & Kim made sure that we had absolutely everything we could have needed! The neighborhood is quiet, the town of Gloucester is close by & friendly. We stayed in most of the time & took advantage of the well organized& stocked kitchen. Lots of time on the porch, which was cool even on hot days! This place is a tiny jewel!!! Check out the Gloucester Brewery & Zoll’s Winery! We’ll be back, thank you, Kim, for your hard work, and mostly for being communicative & fun!!!!

Great fishing area. Kim was very helpful and communicated during our reservation. I caught a lot of fish in this area.

This place was great for a long weekend away. We enjoyed the screened in porch, kayaking, and fishing from the dock. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing get away!

From check-in to check out, EVERYTHING WAS EXCEPTIONAL. Kim really did an amazing job at ensuring our family had a wonderful experience. This place was top notch. Great use of space. Smelled amazing, VERY CLEAN, almost everything was provided that a family could need which added to an even more relaxing trip! Kim responded to any questions we had during our visit and was very helpful with helping us navigate the area. The only downfall is that we didn't stay longer! Thank you so much for making this such a beautiful trip for our family!!! All the details that were paid attention to made the stay super family friendly and very welcoming!The dock and screen porch were super enjoyable. As far as possible suggestions, maybe a thermacell for the end of the dock, a little bit more dock lighting and some sort of adjustable shades for the screen porch.

Small house right on the water, beautiful setting, quiet, 15 minutes from town of Gloucester. Comfortable and charming.

This quite house on the river was relaxing yet close enough to Glouster and Mathews to give tons of options for food and thing to do. Just what we were looking for.

It was the perfect location for a relaxing long weekend. The place is very nice, very clean, perfect for a couple, with a beautiful view on the river and beautiful sunsets. The screened in porch is great and we got to see bald eagles from the backyard. We will definitely come back off season for another quiet stay.

Very cozy, nice decor, clean and a beautiful view with majestic eagles flying over the water. The kitchen is stocked with most any pot, pan or utensil you would need to cook a meal or there are restaurants and a grocery store within 15 minutes. It was cold outside and took us a while to figure out to keep the bedrooms and the bathroom doors closed (they run cool) to warm up the living room and kitchen and then it was great. Highly recommended this for friends or small family get away. The place is small but laid out well. We will probably be back.

We came for the Urbanna oyster festival and found the cottage to be a perfect landing spot for us. Charming, clean, beautiful view, and well stocked!

Such a cute little house on a beautiful piece of the Piankatank. Everything you could ever need is provided. I could just sit on the dock forever. We caught a couple of nice crabs...and threw them back. Delightful getaway.

Lovely stay on river. The quaint cottage had everything we needed. The kayaks and fishing gear were a plus.

My sister and I, both in our 60s, spent a few days in this cottage as part of our yearly Sister Vacation tradition. We had such a nice time! Upon entering the cottage, the first thing you notice is how exceptionally clean it is. It smelled amazing and was spotless. The amenities included are top-notch. Towels were plentiful, and the linens and super comfortable beds made for very peaceful sleep. We utilized the kayaks (life vests also provided). The setting is so peaceful beautiful. It's a very quiet neighborhood. We grilled on the fire pit which has a grill top. Be careful, though, the bottom of the fire pit is starting to rust through. It works if you keep your charcoal to one side. Communication with host was exceptional. We had terrible storms when we first checked in and ended up losing power. Because the house has well water, we lost running water as well. The cottage caretaker, Kim, and her son-in-law, Brian came to our rescue. Brian brought us jugs of water, extra flashlights, and bags of ice to save our food. Their concern and service went above and beyond and we were so appreciative! Thanks again Kim and Brian! Don't miss out on this amazing property. We hope to return in the future!

The place is in a great locale, and I couldn’t have asked for better.

We had a great time in Gloucester. The views of the water were awesome! We really enjoyed the restaurants on Main St. Very quiet and peaceful.

This is our second stay.. we will absolutely be back
