The setting by the lake is absolutely perfect, and we loved being so close to the water.We did want to share a few suggestions that might help future guests. The mattresses were extremely soft, and after four nights my husband and I both experienced some back discomfort. In the primary bedroom, the king-sized bed is placed between two glass nightstands with sharp corners; in the dark, I accidentally bumped my forehead while getting up.Additionally, the second bedroom doesn’t offer any storage space, as the closet is being used to store the vacuum and other cleaning supplies.Be aware that while the kitchen island has three chairs, there is no dining table. While the kitchen was perfectly delightful and adequate for cooking our Thanksgiving meal, there is very limited space for seating.With a few adjustments, this cottage could be even more comfortable, but we truly enjoyed the peaceful location and overall charm.

The pools were outstanding and staff very friendly. Cottage was beautiful.

Also the upstairs bathroom lights went out twice during our stay and were still out when we left the house. We had someone come fix the lights the first time they went out but it happened again later that day. Besides the electrical mishaps, the stay was exceptional and will definitely be visiting again.

The boys loved waking up and walking straight out our door to fish. Dad could have his morning coffee and relax while the boys fished right outside the door! The new south side pool was a close golf cart ride. There is construction on the south side but we found that we didn’t hear any noise from our house and it didn’t interfere with our stay. The workers were respectful and would always yield to the guests. The house was adequately stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. I’d recommend that they leave 2 coffee pods as a courtesy so that you have your first morning coffee ready before you figure out that they don’t supply coffee pods. The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook your own food! The only problem we had was the king mattress was broken down so we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed to have a firmer mattress. The mattresses are very plush and my husband and I usually like firmer ones so that the mattress doesn’t get a large sinking hole. Overall, we slept great and had a fun stay! We rented a golf cart from Sage carts onsite. They delivered it to our unit and it was perfect for zooming to north side for dinner and activities! In would highly recommend you stay at Sun Chaser Cottage!

We stayed a South and didn't have any issues with construction, if anything we appreciated that it was less crowded than North. We enjoyed ice cream/movie on the lawn, pizza at Dylan's and dinner at Lisabella's. Golf cart is a must and makes it easy to get between north and south on the beach...only complaint is the lack of shade at the pools (umbrellas would be an easy fix). Our house was gorgeous, clean, and cute. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Such an easy walk to the beach & the pool. Plenty of parking. The whole neighborhood is so quiet at night, I slept like a baby!
