You'll be staying in the newly remodeled, best lil' Carriage House in JC! She's cozy, she's quaint, she's quirky (oh, hey, dip!) and she's located near DT, ETSU, hospitals, the VA, Highway 26 (aka the fastest route to a whole bunch of other awesome places to daytrip!)… Essentially, this is where you and your family want to be to enjoy the best that JC has to offer. Whether you're coming for a wedding, funeral, fun in the mountains, work, or just exploring a new place, the Carriage House will welcome you home!

Welcome to the historic Crooked Carriage House! This cozy guest house is nestled in the popular Tree Streets neighborhood of Johnson City. Her quirks include a little dip in the kitchen floor and some other crooked characteristics that only add to her charm. Please do not book if you are concerned about settling... and please read on if you love special places because she surely is that.

Okay, now that we've got that out of the way!

You'll be in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood a few minutes' walk or drive to Downtown Johnson City where you can enjoy the summer festivals, music in the park, dinner at a great restaurant, or a cold beverage at one of the breweries. We think this is the best neighborhood in JC and we think you will, too.

Walk your pup around the neighborhood and spot the trees located in the state-certified arboretum. Take your littles to Founders Park and let them run off some of that energy in the large, open field.

We're centrally located to some stellar mountain hikes, the Nolichucky River, a few lakes where you can rent boats or enjoy the beach. We're about an hour's drive through some gorgeous mountains and breathtaking views to Asheville. It's really the best of both worlds - stay in JC, avoid the crowds and pricing of AVL, but be close enough to take a daytrip if there's something in particular you want to explore.

Please note: The Carriage House shares a driveway with the main home (another listing of ours if you need a larger place) so you'll need to park on the left side only. The Carriage House guests do not get access to the main home backyard.

>Must be at least 25 years old to book
>We have a keyless digital smart lock to access the property

>We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance only. We also have a Ring Floodlight facing the driveway only. These cameras are not monitored but record.

>We also have a noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. The noise monitoring system is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!
