Recuperation Cottage offers gulf views and is steps to the beach! Pet-friendly, boat parking

We loved the little cottage! It was absolutely perfect for us! We can't wait to go back!

Owners went for style and not function. Ad said smart tv.Have never stayed anywhere where we couldn’t just turn on the tv and watch at least something. Had to call agent to find out there’s no tv service unless you have a subscription that you upload to the TVs there and then remove before you leave. HDMI cord is neede for a smart tv. No plug ins in the kitchen except where ref and microwave are. Had to move things into dining rm to use. A bar & plugs on the kit side would work so much better and sensible in case people sitting at the bar. Furn not arranged so that is convenient to watch tv. Recliners should be in front of tv not straight back chairs. Actually whole liv rm could be arranged better. Table between chairs is an accident waiting to happen with the odd shape and dips in it. You get 1 roll of tp which is not enough. 1 laundry det of which you have to use to start laundry after you strip beds and towels. Luckily we brought more. There was 2 sets of salt and pepper shakers but none of these 2 basic spices. Bed sheet was yellow. Didn’t need the cloth napkins and all the the throw pillows. Basic tv is needed!!! Since no closets at least put a hook over the bedroom doors to hang clothes. An apt size range would be nice & would fit where the microwave is if you put a bar & plug ins in the kitchen. The area was great and we are already looking at places for next year down there. But, BASIC TV is a must!!

Cold air blowing, beach vibe, great location for privacy, friendly neighbors and passwesby.

Note we didn't call to have them fix these things. 1 bedroom ceiling fan didn't work. The coffee pot lid to top of glass broken. It would have been nice to have a hot plate and not just an air fryer. Other than that it was nice, clean and close to beach access.

House is decorated and furnished very cute. Great location to beach. This part of the beach is in a great spot as not as crowded as other areas more toward heart of Mexico Beach. It’s disclosed that there is not a cool top and only a mini fridge. We did ok with this as usually ate dinner out and simple meals for breakfast and lunch. Would not work well for those wanting to cook a lot.

Recuperation Cottage was a great little spot—cozy and charming! It’s within walking distance to the beach, which was absolutely amazing. The location made everything so relaxing and convenient. I would definitely visit again!

Our stay at this rental was amazing! Check in was easy and the place was perfect for our needs! Everything was clean and the place had everything we needed! Perfect for a small group of people and close to beach access!

The cottage generally met my expectations. However, it lacked a cooking stove. That was probably mentioned in the description, but I missed it. Secondly, the television reception was poor. Three of the four nights I tried to watch it. It kept losing Internet connection which made everything nonfunctional.

My husband and I loved staying at the Cottage with our fur babies for the Valentine weekend. It was just the right size for us and so clean and cozy. It was exactly as described and seen in the pictures provided. We liked that it was one floor for our elderly dogs and my husband to navigate since he was recovering from knee surgery and other health issues. We also loved how close it was to the beach and restaurants too. The neighborhood was friendly and we met some fur baby friends too. This was the perfect getaway and we are so grateful we got to stay here.

Great little place to stay. I would suggest bringing a fan for each bedroom, as the air doesnt flow good into the bedrooms. Parking isnt the best but we made it work. Very cute, pet friendly, and a very short walk to the beach.
