We, family of three, enjoyed our stay very much. Helena and Francisco are very warm and welcoming people. Their son and daughter speak English well. The garden is beautifull with the waterfalls, the little lake and the vinyard. The cottages are well kept and much prettier than the pictures show. The outdoor kitchen with fridge which we shared with one other family was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for peace and quiet you will love this place.

A little tropical paradise. Perfect setting next to the water and total seclusion at bottom of valley. There was no-one staying in the second property by the water but don't think it would have changed our opinion. Accommodation was more than adequate and the outdoor kitchen area had everything you'd need. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the son was our readily available interpreter. We were welcomed with the wine they make on the land and a simple breakfast was supplied each morning at top of hill. The only negative would be that anyone with mobility issues may not welcome the steep climb up the hill, and the parking is also at top of hill. To be honest this just added to the charm of the place but for others it could be an issue. Our 4 year old just loved it and the stream that ran under the house alongside the boat on the weir kept him endlessly entertained. I would urge anyone staying in this area to stay here. Perfect for couples or with 1 small child.
