Quiet gîte with private swimming pool and fishing pond near Lascaux.

The property wasn't quite ready for us, so we moved to the owners other property for the rest of our stay which was fab. Yvan always goes out of his way to make sure our stay is the best.

The house was a little basic and the only shower was a hand held over the bath. However, those were the only negatives. The pool was amazing and even though it was really hot weather, the house stayed relatively cool. Thank you to Yvan for his welcome

For us this holiday gite is perfect, private pool, not overlooked and a well stocked private fishing lake. The pool is lush and a shaded patio very welcome due to extreme heat during 3 weeks spent there.The decor is is a little outdated and rustic, however all we needed was provided, lots of crockery and kitchen utensils with a dishwasher. Washing machine and ironing board included was very convenient. at first did not find a hairdrier but found it in the drawer of the bathroom cupboard. owners were very discreet which we appreciated. the peaceful and tranquility was fantastic as were views. 5 min drive to lovely restaurant by a lake and Thenon Town only 10 min away, market day on Tuesdays and a convenient well stocked supermarket. lots of lovely towns a short dive away full of shops, markets and restaurants and a whole manner of things to do. I can honestly state that this property offers value for money in a beautiful area.

Rural gite, good facilities, super helpful owner. Plenty of space, good Wi-Fi, and cool even without air conditioning. Really enjoyed our time here.

We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 weeks in August 2021. The property is traditional and rustic, but clean and has all the facilities needed. Dishwasher, washing machine, cooking utensils, etc. The electric fan was very useful during the warmer second week. The pool is a fabulous size and kept very clean. A brick built Bbq is fantastic for outdoor eating along with the covered seating area next to the pool. The private pond a short walk away was amazing for us, we carp fish at home and we caught some great sized fish during our stay. The house is ideally situated and we visited Périgueux, Bergerac, Sarlat and Brive-la-Gaillarde during our stay, along with other smaller villages, markets, château, etc. Yvan is a lovely host, despite the language difficulties, Google translate app was very useful! We both tried with our French and English! Thank you Yvan for a lovely holiday, you are very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world. Lucie, Dan and Family.
