Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely home for a couple. Well maintained by the owners who are extremely helpful. We were there in early December 2020 and the house was comfortably heated with radiators and a small wood stove. We were always warm throughout our stay. We chose to walk and cycle during our time at the property and enjoyed each day even if the weather was not superb. Knowing we were returning to a cosy, warm cottage made the whole experience the best. Facilities and equipment provided made it easy to make our own meals which is always our preference. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Visiting family and used the cottage for a safe spot to see them. Tiny and compact but we felt ‘safe’ in the current situation. We were warmly greeted by the owners who were very helpful and friendly during our stay. Fishing was advertised but canal was completely overgrown and unfishable.
