Private pool! 3 blks to beach access! West Destin, Next to the Henderson!

We had the best time staying in this oasis! Everything was perfect and we even had beach accessories to take with us. We love this neighborhood so much and love how close the beach access was. We loved a great lunch and popsicle from Camille’s. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen and fridge was nice to have as well.

Was the perfect property for what we were looking for. The private pool, location, and privacy were amazing. Such a great place to stay, already planning a return visit.

Love this little cottage. The private pool is great and you can walk to almost anything. Close to the beach and so many shops. This was our 3rd year to stay in the cottage.

Great little place right in the middle of lovely Destin.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect for us! We loved the pool, easy beach access, and walking-distance proximity to so many restaurants. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful abode in Destin.

Location was perfect and within minutes of where we needed to be . Quick easy access to Henderson beach.

Very personable host and friendly

The house is located within easy walking distance to several beaches, restaurants, and Destin Commons. It is a great small house that was clean and had everything to enjoy both our time there and at the beach. The host was very easy to work with and even approved us extending our stay on short notice. The neighborhood is quiet at night and the person staying at the main house was very private and we felt comfortable chilling in the pool.

Salty pearl in the perfect location to shopping and beach. Quiet, clean and private. Mande and Bruce were helpful and personable. I would most definitely stay here again.

The Salty Pearl is a great spot for couples. It's just enough space and is a great, central location for activities around Destin and Santa Rosa. It's not fancy, but has everything you need. It's clean and nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has the basics you need for vacation cooking. As other reviewers have said, having a private pool is REALLY NICE. This is something my husband and I have made a point to look for in a rental and it definitely contributed to our decision to stay here. We had not been to Destin before so we didn't realize just how central the Pearl is. It's about ten minutes to the Destin boardwalk and about 25 minutes to Santa Rosa. Publix is just three blocks away, along with many restaurants, a movie theater, and shopping. It's an easy walk to the beach, though be aware that if you want to stay at the beach all day, Shirah beach is mostly reserved for people who stay at the condo's on the beach. You'll need to drive a little (maybe a mile) to get to an open, public beach. The only bummer about the Pearl is that it backs up to a parking lot and on the other side of the parking lot is the back of retail shops and restaurants. It's nice that there aren't houses right behind you, but every morning at 4am trash trucks come to get trash. It didn't wake me up but it woke my husband every morning. I still recommend this place! It's hard to find a place for just two people and the Pearl with its private pool is just right.

Perfect location

A great place for a couple. The private pool was clean and refreshing. The location was excellent! Many great restaurants and necessary shopping near by. Although it rained most of our stay, the short walk to the beach made it very nice when we did go. Very private setting and everything we needed was provided.

We loved everything about this place except the distance to the beach was a little further than we expected , we drove to the public beach access area but you have to get there very early or you'll never find a parking spot. We loved everything except that

My first impression was how cute and clean feeling the cottage was. Decor had a nice beachy feel to it. Everything I needed was available for use. Beach was an easy 2 block walk away and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Pool was very clean, warm and private. Owner (Lisa) was so pleasant and kind. Management team (Bruce) was very responsive to my questions. This was a perfect fit for me and would be a great getaway for couples. Thank you Lisa and Bruce!

We had a great time celebrating our Annniversary in the carriage house. It was very clean, private and in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Because of the building that are on the beach putting up rope to keep people from in front of their building, it left very little room for people to access the beach. But having the pool to use was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay.
