House is very well equipped. Perfect location to beach, shopping, restaurants and playgrounds if needed. Louise is very responsive and helpful with questions.

I can’t say enough about our stay. First of all, location, location, location. Could walk everywhere. Even to the train station, which we took into Salem. The cottage was adorable with a good use of space. They left little touches for us like fresh flowers, wine and even some breakfast food. I can’t think of one thing you need to bring other than your clothes. It was stocked with everything. The views were amazing too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Lovely cottage on the edge of Millbrook Park, ocean view , quick walk to town. Very gracious host and hostess. She left us breakfast for the day after trip. it's a very well supplied cottage , look forward to returning. i couldn't ask for more.

The cottage was charming, perfect location, decor and amenities. Great views from screened in front porch, perfect for morning coffee, evening ocean view. Back yard fully furnished for meals, campfire and relaxing with a view of the pond and lovely breeze. The new kitchen is great and was fully stocked w everything a kitchen needs and then some! Our thanks to Louise and Karl for their attention to detail, hospitality and extensive lists for entertainment dining and household information.. we look forward to returning

We had a wonderful and relaxing, fall getaway Stay at Louise’s cottage in Rockport. The amenities and attention to detail provided a romantic charm, view to the ocean and wood-burning fireplace made our stay even more special. Being so close to the train station provided a convenient transportation to Salem and Boston. We will return to Rockport and look forward to staying once again at this lovely home.

Charming cottage overlooking mill pond. Can walk to beach, sit in screened in porch and watch the sunrise, walk dogs in the park, walk to Bearskin Neck. Will be back!

We stayed for two weeks with our children and the location was perfect. There is a playground a short walk from the house and the kids loved being able to go there alone. The house is tucked in amongst trees and at the end of the road. So very private and quiet.

Based on prior reviews, we knew the cottage would be charming with fresh flowers and kitchen essentials but that would be an understatement. The kitchen was better stocked than my own kitchen with items such as parchment paper and heart shaped pancake molds. What the other reviews didn’t highlight was the delightful location. The pond provided hours of entertainment as family members fished, watched turtles and looked for bullfrogs. The ocean breeze kept the nights cool and the outdoor seating provided us with spots to read, talk and eat. Very close to the beach and to town. It was wonderful to be able to walk everywhere.

The cottage was so quaint and cozy, I loved it. It is a cemetery away from the beach, literally. It was peaceful, close to shops, dining all within walking distance. Karl and Louise were very nice and easily reached when I had a question. I felt very welcomed by them, she left a nice card to welcome us along with some welcoming goodies. The best touch were the fresh vases of cut flowers. I hope to come back, next time with my husband to relax and explore the beautiful area. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
